I am originally from New York and grew up in the New York City Metropolitan area. I then went to attend undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Albany, ("UAlbany"). I graduated from UAlbany in 2006 with cum laude honors for my studies in Political Theory and History. After graduation, I moved to South Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center and graduated 6 months prior to my scheduled graduation date. While attending Nova Southeastern, I was actively involved in the Environmental Law Society, the Public Interest Law Society, and acted as a incoming student liason as a Law Student Advisor. Also, I was a participant in Nova Southeastern's Children and Family Law Clinic in which I received high honors for my time and dedication to helping less fortunate individuals with family law related issues in the South Florida community.
I then moved to Central Florida in January of 2011 to prepare for the Florida Bar Exam. After receiving news of passing the Bar Exam, I then volunteered at Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, Inc. as a pro-bono attorney. I worked there for a period of 6 months and dedicated over 200+hours of time assisting the less foruntate in Central Florida. I then worked at the Kramer Law Firm, P.A. Attorneys & Counselors at Law in September of 2011. At Kramer Law, I practiced as a general civil litigator and focused in foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, family law, business and other civil matters.
In May of 2014, I began working at the largest Insurance Defense firm in Florida and was promoted to Partner of the Personal Injury Protection Group for the Orlando office in July of 2017. Following that, I supervised a group on 12 attorneys, supervising 1000's of pending suits and handling a personal case load of over 200 cases in various stages of litigation from pre-suit to trial and appeal. I handled Personal Injury Protection, SIU (special investigation unit/fraud claims), First Party Property (homeowners claims), General Liability (trip/fall, catastrophic accident, automobile accident, trucking accident, premises liability) and Product Liability claims.
In February of 2021, I began working at Dutton Law Group, P.A. in Orlando, Florida.

"I haven't worked with Mr. Seekamp for long, but during my first week with the firm I attended a hearing with him. His poise in the courtroom and knowledge of the intricacies of the law impressed me immediately, as they did another lady who was waiting for her case to be called. She came up to me and said. "who is that man and can I get his card.". Mr. Seekamp is knowledgable about almost every aspect of civil law. His clients like him, and he's actually a pretty funny guy too."
"I have worked with Justin for nearly two years and he is one of the most dedicated attorneys I know. Justin is constantly working to find the best strategies for his clients and protect their interests. Justin is also a strong advocate for those in need and was recently recognized for his outstanding pro bono service. I endorse this lawyer."
