I obtained my Bachelor's degree with honors from Florida State University before going on to law school. I also graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law. Upon graduating law school, I received the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award given to the law school's top trial litigator.

During law school, I worked for the civil litigation firm of Thompson, Goodis & Thompson and as a Judicial Clerk for the 6th Judicial Circuit. Soon after graduating law school, I gained valuable criminal trial law experience as a State Prosecutor for Orange and Osceola Counties in Florida.

I left the State Attorney's Office in 2002 to pursue a career in criminal defense and personal injury with the goal of helping individuals and their families. I personally handle every client's case and do not push it off to another attorney.

I have tried a wide range of cases and spent many hours in both State and Federal courtrooms fighting for my clients.

I am admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Florida. In addition to my private clients, I am occasionally appointed by the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida to represent individuals charged with federal crimes.

I am a member of the Florida and Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, American Bar Association, Florida Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association.

When I am not helping clients, I am typically spending time enjoying life with my wife, Francee and our three daughters. I also enjoy the beach/water numerous sports and the outdoors. On Saturdays during the Fall, I can often be found with friends and family in Tallahassee cheering for the Seminoles.

Nothing short of "Spectacular"!

Use only Travis! He saved me!

Travis is the best! He has gotten me out of numerous jams. He in my eyes has won every case I have put in front of him. From very reduced sentences to getting two of my cases completely thrown out. He was always patient with me even when I was in distress and always kept me in the loop. He is my attorney for life!

5 star attorney. I can not thank him enough.

Travis took on a criminal case for me that had the chance to severely affect the rest of my life and relationship with my family. Travis saw what the judicial system will refuse without an attorney like him representing you. Above and. Beyond

I was in a car accident last November and I foolishly hired Dan Newlin's office thinking they would get my case handled quickly. Boy was I wrong. I should have hired Travis from the start. Newlin's office were terrible about staying in contact with me. They offered no help with my property damage either. I finally made the decision to have Travis take over my case. It was an uphill battle for him as Newlin's office would not cooperate. Travis basically had to start my case over from scratch. And he knocked it out of the park. He took the time to help me navigate the headache of dealing with the property damage even though he was not obligated to. He stayed in constant contact with me and reached a settlement that exceeded my expectations. Travis is a great man. With him in your corner, you have nothing to worry about. He'll take good care of you.

Travis Williams review

I cannot thank Mr. Williams enough for his help in this stressful situation. I’ve never been in a situation before and I did not know what to expect but he expertly navigated the process by giving me a very good idea of what was to come based on his years of experience. He was great with communicating with me and keeping me aware of have updates and next steps. I’m so happy that my future was in his hands. I don’t think anyone else could have done what he done for me. He never overpromise me gave me a fair assessment of what my options were. I feel supported. Things turned out well for me because I retained him as my attorney. Thank you so much again Travis! I wish I could give you 6 stars . Even though my case was settled in court, there were still a lot of issues with the DMV that I absolutely could not have navigated myself. I needed my license for work and there was some confusion on what the court conveyed to the DMV. Without a license I wouldn’t be able to work and move on with my life. Travis was able to step in once again to help me fix the situation and keep me driving and working. There is no way I could have figured this out without him.

Amazing

Travis Williams is an amazing lawyer, I have hired him for multiple car accidents and he has made sure that they all went smoothly and efficiently. I trust him with all my legal concerns. Travis Williams really is the BEST!

As a mom I can tell you the hardest thing to do is watch your child suffer the consequences their mistakes. Especially when the consequences include time in jail. Travis Williams represented my son on several very serious cases and few minor cases. Even after getting in trouble so many times, Travis fought for my son and got the best outcomes for him each time. I hope I won’t need to again but I would never even consider hiring anyone but Travis Williams to represent my family. He is always personally available, responds fast, and he gets best results!

Terrific Work

Amazing lawyer

I recently hired Travis to help me get my license reinstated. After about a year of trying to do it myself with no success Mr. Williams got my license reinstated in less than 2 months. He was amazing. He also worked with me on a payment plan which helped loads since I'm a single mother. I'm so glad I chose to go with him. He's awesome at communicating and also very thorough on getting things done.
