Justin Infurna

I hired him in May 2019 to deal with a dispute with my neighbor and was initially treated with respect but had very little contact with him after initial conversation. I dealt mainly with his paralegal but at time progressed, I heard less and less from anyone. When I attempted to contact the paralega...l in 12/20, I continually got messages saying the phone number had been disconnected. When I did reach the atty himself, he yelled at me in a very unprofessional manner and told me to contact him only through email. When I attempted this again (I had done this numerous times prior to his tirade), I got a one liner saying he had fired his paralegal and then another one liner stating that he was out of the office until Jan. 5 2021. After that date, I attempted to contact him and eventually googled him only to find out that he had had his license suspended in an article in the Orlando Sentinel. His phone numbers have been disconnected and I have no way to get my documents, etc from him after paying him $3000. Now I need to find another atty as I just found out that there is a status hearing on my case in June! This guy is poisonous!!!!

I hired Justin Infurna because I was scammed by a web designer company and a social media company for $34,500. Turns out my lawyer was a scammer also. I paid him $5,000. He never gave me any info on what was happening with the case other than saying they were doing traces. I always contacted him ...for updates which he didn't really give. He only called me when he wanted another $2500. After a year I thought it would be done. He said it would take another year. The internet said 1 year for out of state cases. I was paying $1,000 a month on the credit card debt for over a year. I had to retire so I had no choice but to file bankruptcy. So he not only screwed me he screwed 5 banks also. He needs to go to jail He is a criminal. I saw he is up for disbarment. He did not even bother to attend his own sanctions hearing. He used foul language with me when I said I was complaining to the bar association. He said he would sue me for slander. I said it isn't slander if it's true. I did file a complaint with the bar.

Justin infurna is nothing but a scammer. Once he has your retainer he does next to nothing. He doesn't communicate he generalizes his responses has no time for phone calls or to review anything and not only that he didn't show up for two court hearings one of which had the judge ordered a warrant fo...r me would have put me in jail to remain until the trial which could be years. He will not take responsibility for this and frankly isn't even familiar w my case after almost one year. He's resorted to verbally insulting me calling names ,telling me I'm sick. Oh yes I'm sick to want my lawyer to show up and or communicate about each court date and the results for the next step. He sing a song of sorrow "woe is me "about his life ...as if it doesn't matter that his screw up would land me in jail and that's where I'd be right now had the judge gone ahead w the warrant but he waited because he couldn't believe it was possible that no one showed up. I had filed a waiver of appearance but stupidly believed Justin had some competence. .my bad.now taking him to court to get initial monies refunded for lack of everything see forth in the implied promise to perform by the bars standards.

Justin Infurna charged my husband snd me (we have 4 children) $6000 in January 2020 when we were taken advantage of while purchasing a new home. He has only communicated with me four times in the last eight months by email, once by phone when he went off on me because he had the flu. In every single ...email all he said was it takes time and this is a process. I contacted him after four months of not hearing anything and asked for an update. He replied to contact him on Monday, November 9th after 5 PM or anytime on Tuesday, November 10th So that, in his words, he could provide a comprehensive update. I followed his directions and called him after five on Monday to be screamed at when he answered his phone in his car because it was raining, and he demanded we just talk the next day. I said I was sorry, and I told him I would call him the next day. I called him in the morning and spoke to his secretary after he did not answer his personal line, and she informed me he was not in his office and gave him a message to call me back. I then emailed him to let him know that I had left him a message because he told me to contact him on that day. He later called me and said "can you just write down your questions in an email because if everybody keeps on calling me I'm not gonna be able to do any work and nobody has any respect for my time or cares about anything going on in my personal life." Obviously, at this point he was incredibly aggressive snd abrasive, and I said no problem, I will just send it to you in an email. With him telling me that he was going to give me a comprehensive update, I gave a very detailed list of questions that I wanted answered since I paid him $6000 and I've not even heard if he's done anything with my case, much less file anything on our behalf. He called me up and screamed at me once again and told me that I am disrespectful of his time, it would take him five days to answer those questions, told me he didn't care if I didn't like it and that I could call the bar on him and that he didn't care. My husband proceeded to call him and Justin started freaking out about his personal life and problems and how no one cares, none of which is professional, and how he didn't like that I sent him that email, yet he was the one who requested that I did. I am an English major, so naturally I am going to write down exactly what I need answered in a very precise way. All I wanted to know was what was going on with my case. He and my husband got into a screaming match, and hung up. Justin proceeded to call us back numerous times to continue screaming at us and spoke to me and told me "you can call me at Monday after five do I make myself clear?" I was speechless, he kept talking about some girl that had died and I didn't have any words. I had no idea what he was talking about, and he was obviously completely out of his mind. All I said was OK and after being verbally abused so intensively, I just let my husband talk to him. After them calling each other and hanging up on each other about three or four times, Justin finally decided to act civilly and told my husband that we could call him today, Saturday, November 14 at 11 o'clock and he would go over everything with our case. We figured that he was having some incredible trauma going on in his own life the few days might give him some time to process whatever he was going through and become professional enough to deal with a client. We each tried to call him, and he blocked both of our phone numbers. The lack of professionalism and incredibly abrasive, rude, and horrible experience that I have had with this attorney has been a nightmare. I basically threw away $6000, or I basically invested it to be verbally attacked and abused for the last eight months. In the contract, there is a refund policy, we hired him on a retainer but he says he is not obligated to pay us back. We do intend file a complaint with the Florida bar, and the BBB.
