Andrew is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy who went on to serve as a Naval Engineering Officer. Andrew served aboard several warships in support of global maritime operations and, fluent in Japanese, served as a liaison officer between the U.S. and Japanese navies. Andrew went on to attend Florida State University College of Law and is currently a candidate for a Master’s of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida.
Andrew applies his dedication to service; his discipline and will to succeed in the service of his clients. Andrew is passionate about assisting his clients with protection, prosecution, licensing, and enforcement of Intellectual Property rights and has experience in Patent, Trademark, and Copyright litigation and prosecution.
Andrew stays abreast of the latest technology development and licensing agreements, and works alongside individuals and corporations to develop a forward-looking strategic approach to their intellectual property portfolio.
Andrew works in numerous industries including: electrical, computer, toy and game, mechanical, medical device, automotive, cookware, aerospace/defense, sporting goods and exercise, power generation, and design.
Further, Andrew has experience in trademark opposition and cancellation procedures with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and post-grant proceedings with the Patent Trial and Appeals Board.
Andrew is actively involved in Startup Community and local inventors clubs in Central and South Florida. He represents several Startup companies including Shark Tank participants, and regularly lectures on intellectual property matters to various organizations including The Association of University Technology Managers, Inventors Society of South Florida, Inventors Council of Central Florida, and numerous inventor podcasts.
