Replied last April 03, 2017Before I joined the Aikin Family Law Group, I worked at an aggressive litigation firm for 9 years. I saw so many families torn apart and, inevitably, there was never a “winner.” I’m not opposed to litigation and do litigate many of my cases, but I also do try to settle before rushing to the courtroom. Thank you for the compliment about my calmness and knowledge of the law; they serve me well both in and out of the courtroom. There are so many factors to consider before taking the litigation path, and it was unfortunate in your case, that resolution could not be reached.
