I was referred to a lot of firms that wanted ridiculous amounts of money just to talk to me. Emily met with me and listened to my situation at no charge, explained to me how we would handle my case, and explained everything to me very simply. I hired her and was not disappointed! I anticipated that m...y divorce would be a complicated and messy one as my ex-spouse is not one to give in to anybody. Emily was knowledgable and handled him and his attorney well. She was professional and never let him manipulate the situation. She was fair and calculated. She told me what to expect and that is exactly how things went. I was most impressed with her knowledge and confidence. I was never concerned that I had made the wrong choice in choosing her to represent me. Mediation was surprisingly smooth even though it was also stressful, but Emily's professional relationship with the mediator was apparent and while I didn't necessarily get exactly what I wanted I was satisfied and very happy that she was able to help me resolve our mediation in a matter of a few hours. After everything was done my ex-spouse did not hold up his end of the agreement and Emily did not let him off, she stayed on him to keep up his end of the agreement and filed motions accordingly when he did not follow through in a timely manner. I was most satisfied with her knowledge, quick response, and attentiveness!
