Best lawyer ever

What can I say, she is probably the best most helpful lawyer I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. From start to finish she always kept me informed and addressed any worries or concerns I may have had, I got what I hired her to do which was to get custody of my kids from my ex-wife. She is very knowledgeable of the law and when my court date came she went in there with her guns of knowledge loaded. Not only did I get custody of my kids my ex now has to pay me child support, overall I am super happy with everything Stephanie did for me my kids and family. Everything worked out for the best thanks to her.

Stephanie N. Greaves was born in Santa Maria, California and grew up in an Air Force family. Growing up in a military family provided Stephanie with the realistic knowledge of what military families face every day, and further gave Stephanie the insight needed to handle military divorces and other military family law issues.

Stephanie attended Florida State Univeristy earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English, and a Minor in Spanish. Stephanie graduated from Florida State Univeristy in 2011 with Magna Cum Laude honors.

Stephanie attended Florida State University College of Law, receiving a full academic scholarship due to her academics and high credentials. During law school, Stephanie focused her studies on the areas of family law and juvenile law, working and interning with private law firms in the local area. Stephanie became a Florida Supreme Court Certified Legal Intern where she handled numerous family law cases at the college's Public Interest Law Center, and also served as a Certified Legal Intern within the juvenile division at the State Attorney's Office, Second Judicial Circuit. During law school, Stephanie worked with the Tallahassee Bar Association Legal Aid Foundation, where she became the Director of the Family Law Pro Se Program. During law school, Stephanie interned with an Okaloosa County, Florida, Circuit Judge, and other local family law firms in Okaloosa County, Florida, further expanding and enhancing Stephanie's knowledge and experience with family law and dependency cases. In 2014, Stephanie was awarded with a Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award from the Florida State University College of Law, wherein Stephanie was recognized for her strong commitment to providing pro bono services to those unable to afford legal services.

From 2014-2019, Stephanie worked as an Associate Attorney for a Board Certified Marital and Family Law Attorney in Okaloosa County, Florida. Stephanie practiced exclusively in the area of Family Law, where she zealously advocated for and protected the rights of her clients and their families.

In 2016 and in 2017, Stephanie received an award for the 10 Best Attorneys in the State of Florida from the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys for providing exceptional and outstanding client service. In 2018, Stephanie received an award as a 2018 Rising Star in the area of Family Law from the American Institute of Legal Advocates. Excellent lawyer with deep military knowledge

Stephanie and her team were phenomenal during my divorce. They are always compassionate and understanding that this is a difficult life-event for their clients. They are also incredibly knowledgeable…especially in the unique aspects of military divorce and child custody. Stephanie is a straight-shooter, and I was always confident in her advice and work. She helped me develop a plan that was fair yet firm, and she always had my best interests in mind (even if I didn’t). I didn’t feel like a client following her advice blindly…we worked as a team and she made sure to learn my long term parenting and financial goals. The best and most reliable choice!

Stephanie and her team is the first choice I would recommend to anyone if they are going through this difficult transition. I came to them after a poor experience with another firm and they salvaged the case. Our case was complicated and required a great deal of coordination to close the case. I am happy with the results. They have an easy-to-use electronic system that provides immediate notifications that are secure and can be handled from the phone or your computer. Also, one area that is normally lacking is the administrative staff, Stephanie's staff is a prime example of how a team should be. They are quick to respond and go out of their way to help you complete your paperwork. I highly recommend Stephanie and her team to transition your family to new beginnings.

Divorce

Going through a divorce is an extremely stressful period in ones life, especially when there are children involved. Feeling supported, guided, and having my concerns heard were all a priority for me when searching for a lawyer to handle my case. The BEST to Trust.

HARDWORKING AND BEST ATTORNEY EVER!!

She was referred to me by a friend who was also going through a divorce and I will say Stephanie and her staff of ladies were AMAZING from the start. I had looked to a couple attorneys that didn’t even want to take the time to listen and understand my situation. I was extremely desperate to get out of my marriage but didn’t know how to begin. I didn’t think I’d ever find one willing to help me. Stephanie has been extremely kind and considerate as my attorney and have guided me through the whole process. She knows her stuff and will fight for you. She takes immediate action to anything that jeopardizes my well being and quick to communicate any info on matters that need attention. The best there is!

Stephanie and her office gals Sheena and Staci are incredible! From day 1, I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. She gave me a realistic idea of what to expect and provided her fee schedule. Her services are very well priced. Stephanie is a military brat herself and gives a great military discount. They were very organized and gave me plenty of time to prepare documents needed. They all stayed in contact throughout my case and responded promptly whenever I had a question or needed anything. Worth Every Penny for Her Second Opinion

I hired Ms. Greaves when my alimony case had dragged on for over a year due to my former husband not honoring our marriage settlement agreement that we both signed 4 years earlier. I desperately needed another opinion and additional insight before I made any more decisions or spent any more money. More than anything, I needed someone to look at my case and give me the big picture of what to expect because after two frustrating attempts at mediation and HOURS of paperwork and driving back and forth from out of state to Florida, I was beyond frustrated with the process and I really was looking for an advocate who heard me and understood my situation. Ms. Greaves gave me her undivided attention on the hour long initial phone consultation. I cannot stress how important it was to me to be heard and understood since I had been frustrated for over a year with the process. She gave me her initial insight and overview into what had transpired so far in my case. She explained the law to me and what I should reasonably expect in my situation. She relayed legal information that had not been explained to me by three of my prior attorneys. She has an outstanding reputation in the community and a wonderful working relationship with other attorneys in the area which leads to a better flow overall and that is a very important factor when hiring a legal team. On more than one occasion, Ms. Greaves calmed me down and assisted me in my written communication with my former husband of 25 years. She has the perfect mix of kindness, restraint, confidence and fierceness had I needed to go to court. With Ms. Greaves guiding me, I was able to settle out of court and receive a fair amount of alimony. When you hire an attorney, it is extremely important to know there is a competent office staff and paralegal assisting with the case, because you work closely with the paralegal on a regular basis. From the first call when I spoke to the legal assistant, Staci, I received professional, top notch service and a clear understanding of what to expect from their office. She also let me know Ms. Greaves honors the military and she discounted her initial consultation. Ms. Greaves paralegal, Sheena, is outstanding. She was very thorough and prompt in her assistance with my needs and she very responsibly handled all of her assignments for my case. I can confidently recommend Ms. Greaves for your family law/divorce/alimony needs.

Divorce

I did not won't to get a divorce. When forced to find a lawyer after searching for days....I chose Stephanie. First let me say I do not like lawyers. She changed my mind. She is awesome! She is is very understanding and gives you the correct advice. The only reason divorce was not handled sooner is because of spouses lawyer. Stephanie is on top of it. Hope I never have to use her again, but if you are needing this service I would highly recommend her.

Does make you feel like you're not worth her time.

My wife and I hired another lawyer a year ago to settle a simple adoption of my stepdaughter. The biological father had already signed his rights away so we just needed to file the paperwork. This process took over a year with constant delays. Within a month of hiring Mrs. Greaves, we were in front of a judge finalizing our paperwork. I honestly don't know what else to say other then she gets the job done. It was honestly a pleasure to have her as an attorney and for her to be a part of this awesome family moment.
