Stephanie N. Greaves was born in Santa Maria, California and grew up in an Air Force family. Growing up in a military family provided Stephanie with the realistic knowledge of what military families face every day, and further gave Stephanie the insight needed to handle military divorces and other military family law issues.
Stephanie attended Florida State Univeristy earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English, and a Minor in Spanish. Stephanie graduated from Florida State Univeristy in 2011 with Magna Cum Laude honors.
Stephanie attended Florida State University College of Law, receiving a full academic scholarship due to her academics and high credentials. During law school, Stephanie focused her studies on the areas of family law and juvenile law, working and interning with private law firms in the local area. Stephanie became a Florida Supreme Court Certified Legal Intern where she handled numerous family law cases at the college's Public Interest Law Center, and also served as a Certified Legal Intern within the juvenile division at the State Attorney's Office, Second Judicial Circuit. During law school, Stephanie worked with the Tallahassee Bar Association Legal Aid Foundation, where she became the Director of the Family Law Pro Se Program. During law school, Stephanie interned with an Okaloosa County, Florida, Circuit Judge, and other local family law firms in Okaloosa County, Florida, further expanding and enhancing Stephanie's knowledge and experience with family law and dependency cases. In 2014, Stephanie was awarded with a Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award from the Florida State University College of Law, wherein Stephanie was recognized for her strong commitment to providing pro bono services to those unable to afford legal services.
From 2014-2019, Stephanie worked as an Associate Attorney for a Board Certified Marital and Family Law Attorney in Okaloosa County, Florida. Stephanie practiced exclusively in the area of Family Law, where she zealously advocated for and protected the rights of her clients and their families.
In 2016 and in 2017, Stephanie received an award for the 10 Best Attorneys in the State of Florida from the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys for providing exceptional and outstanding client service. In 2018, Stephanie received an award as a 2018 Rising Star in the area of Family Law from the American Institute of Legal Advocates. Stephanie has been rated by her fellow peers and was distinguished with High Ethical Standing by Martindale-Hubbell.
