Do Not hire this lawyer to represent you in a DUI charge! In my case, I did not blow, there was no video, I was pulled over for 'going "too slow" (my dog disrupted my driving), also I had been sick, etc.; So it was the officers word against mine with no tangible evidence; I was vulnerable and s...cared, and didn't know any better....he informed me I could possibly go to jail and recommended I plead No contest (nolo contendre), I was worried about losing my job so I did. I know now that any "fairly competent" lawyer could have possibly had the charges dropped, or at least reduced to something that wouldnt smear my character and follow me for a lifetime!

Hiring a lawyer for a legal matter is a very big decision for any person. I really tried to like this attorney, however a lot of money was spent and when it came down to it this attorney did not fight for me. My case without going into specifics was a family case. There was a lot of promises made and... when it came down to action Mr. Burns did not live up to the confidence he insinuated. I was fighting for my own case which was extremely disappointing after spending thousands for something that he should have swept the floor with. Certain legal rights that I have ,and had looked up under the current Florida statues he didn’t seem to know. If it something that is minor I’m sure he will take care of you. But if it’s a complex case from my experience save your money and do your research. This attorney with tell you a lot of things and initial be really engaged ,but after time your lucky to get a response and if you do you have to educate him on your case. I’m not disgruntled by any means I will continue fighting my case and find a better attorney to represent me.
