Hiring a lawyer for a legal matter is a very big decision for any person. I really tried to like this attorney, however a lot of money was spent and when it came down to it this attorney did not fight for me. My case without going into specifics was a family case. There was a lot of promises made and... when it came down to action Mr. Burns did not live up to the confidence he insinuated. I was fighting for my own case which was extremely disappointing after spending thousands for something that he should have swept the floor with. Certain legal rights that I have ,and had looked up under the current Florida statues he didn’t seem to know. If it something that is minor I’m sure he will take care of you. But if it’s a complex case from my experience save your money and do your research. This attorney with tell you a lot of things and initial be really engaged ,but after time your lucky to get a response and if you do you have to educate him on your case. I’m not disgruntled by any means I will continue fighting my case and find a better attorney to represent me.

I hired Mr. Burns for my divorce. He is a knowledgeable man and is the "stern and assertive" attorney you would need. I was out of state trying to call local attorneys. Mr. Burns is the only one that returned my call and actually conducted a phone consult giving advice right away. He made my ex's att...orney look like a fool in court. I feel he genuinely cared for my well being and fought hard for me from the beginning, to hearings and through mediation.

I consulted Mr. Burns on my divorce case and he advised and represented me. He was very knowledgeable and gave me great advise and saved me a bundle in resolving property and alimony issues. I see a couple of bad reviews and all I can say is that they appear to be unhappy loosers (and criminals) who shouldn't have done the crime if they couldn't do the time! Mr. Burns is an honest, stand up guy who tells it like it is and doesn't sugarcoat it. I like him and have the utmost respect for him and his dedication to his clients - at least that was my experience. He will treat you right and do a good job for you. At least he did for me which is all I can go on. Keep up the good work!
