Scott received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University in 1994 earning degrees in International Business and Marketing Management. Scott was recruited to play rugby in London, England following college where he also worked as a marketing manager. While working abroad, Scott had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and Africa and other places which brings a unique perspective to his law practice. In 1998 he received his law degree from the University of Memphis where he was selected to the University's litigation clinic. Scott represented insurance companies in the past before joining Whibbs and Stone which allows him useful insight when pursuing claims against insurance companies on behalf of his clients. Scott was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida and lives in Pace, Florida with his wife and two children. Scott practices in the following areas:

Very understanding and careing attorney

Scott was very aggressive towards setting my case and making sure my medical expenses were taken care of very promptly. He was very knowledgeable about how to handle my case and made me very confident that I would be compensated fairly for my injury. He is very easy to talk to and always made himself available when I had questions. He is the best attorney I have encountered in the Pensacola area.

Car accident at work

I had a car accident at work which involves workers comp and personal injury. Their firm was able to handle both cases for me and I was very pleased with the knowledge Mr Stone had about the whole process

Very professional and Knowlegeable Lawyer

Professionalism at it's best!

Not the usual pompous ass attorney!

Mr. Stone did an outstanding job of representing me in a workers compensation case, when I was injured at work. He was genuinely concerned for me, personally, and demonstrated compassion and caring, while guiding me through a very painful, tortuous process. He communicated with me in person, over the phone, through e-mails and regular mail. He answered my questions and addressed my concerns in a timely manner. He never exhibited any hesitancy in standing up for me, to a very large and powerful insurance company! He gave me good advice, which I mostly accepted, and we were quite successful in obtaining a good settlement from a known to be difficult, thrifty, insurance company. He never gave me unrealistic hope and was very knowledgeable in what I could expect as the outcome. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Scott to anyone in need of an attorney, in his areas of expertise.

Terrible

I had a slip and fall with a broken bone that required extensive and very painful surgery. I completed a form online a few months before the statute of limitations for the fall was reached. I got responses from several attorneys but chose Scott Stone. He was very enthused in the beginning. It was clearly a case of negligence. I don't know whether a deadline was missed or what happened. He didn't offer an explanation just told me I wouldn't be receiving as big a settlement as originally anticipated. Then he and his para legal stopped taking my calls. I finally spoke to him and he said I would probably only receive around $5000. I asked when and he said he didn't know when exactly. That was four years ago and I haven't heard a word from him not to mention not a penny.
