I went for a consultation the first visit. That visit gave me the knowledge that I did need an attorney. They listened and understood my case. Firstly, I was a client of Misty Priests firm. I hired her for a contempt of court motion filed against me (civil). Let me start by stating that I fore warned her about the tactics used by the opposing attorney. It came down to A) I was not held in contempt. B) The amount I was ordered to pay was $80...00, that was supposed to cover 5 months of back pay. C) The opposing attorney wrote the motion so that the $8000 only covered me for 4 months. D) Misty Priest signed off on this paper without consenting with me (her client first) and secondly, wanted to charge me MORE money to fix HER mistake. I have paid through the (horrible) services that I was rendered up to the point where the Judge signed the paperwork. This was the point where she decided to show me the actual paperwork and I pointed out her error. She has since tried charging me an additional $1000 to fix HER MISTAKE! Bring your money elsewhere if you're dealing with family law.
