Worth every penny

I cannot say enough about Ian but he gets the job done. I am beyond pleased and will come to him every single time. He is amazing. He is honest about your situation and will do his best work. I am so thankful I found him. There is no need to worry with him on your team.

Disappointing!

I hired Mr. Nesbeth after receiving information from his law firm about a traffic citation. I was told the ticket would be dismissed or reduced. The process took months with no correspondence or follow ups to update me on the status of my case. I found out that a plea was accepted by going on the cle...rk of courts web site. No one called to say what happened that day nor did I receive any updates. I was told about any possible outcomes and what they would mean to me. After reaching out to the office again Mr. Nesbeth stated "that because the officer came to court I would loose and took a plea. That's just how the law is." So if there is any chance an officer will come to court even if they are in the wrong forget about going this route for representation. He did get no points and the fee reduced, at least the lawyer fee amounted to that. The lack of customer service and regard was subpar and will not recommend him at all.

I regret you did not have a positive experience with my office. However, it appears your case was resolved in a manner advantageous to you. Based on a review of the file, YOU DID NOT HAVE TO APPEAR IN COURT, YOU DID NOT RECEIVE ANY POINTS, YOU DID NOT HAVE TO ATTEND TRAFFIC SCHOOL AND YOUR FINE WAS REDUCED BY $118.00. I should add that if you add the legal fees and reduced fine, that amount is less than the original ticket. Next, I nor any lawyer can guarantee the outcome of a case. I personally explained to you that if your case could not be dismissed I would ensure you don't receive points. I further explained (in several conversations) the law and how facts and other circumstances relate to the law. In your case, the officer appeared in court and had all the required documents. I reviewed the documents and other evidence in the case and spoke to the officer regarding his testimony. BASED ON THE EVIDENCE AND APPLICABLE LAW, HAD THE MATTER PROCEEDED TO TRIAL, YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN FOUND GUILTY. If you were found guilty, you could've received points, been ordered to traffic school and fined up to $500.00. As such, I resolved your case in the most advantageous manner for you; that is, no points, no school and a substantially reduced fine. My office sends dispositions to clients within 3 business days and follows up with a phone call to ensure receipt. Finally, let me reiterate that i am troubled by your disappointment and will review my practices to address any client concerns. I have attempted to address your concerns on multiple occasions, appearantly without success. That being said, I am comfortable that your case was handled professionally and resulted in an excellent outcome for you. AGAIN, YOU RECEIVED NO POINTS, NO SCHOOL, AND A SUBSTANTIAL REDUCTION OF THE FINE AMOUNT.

Excellent Lawyer!

I had just been pulled over and found out that my license was still suspended after paying a previous lawyer to represent me in clearing up 2 traffic tickets. So now I was facing a felony and still had a suspended license. I hired Ian and he went right to work. I had a VALID license in no time and he... kept me from getting a felony while also keeping my license VALID. Great guy and even better lawyer. Get him asap!

Professional, caring, and efficient

Mr. Nesbeth returned my call after business hours and let me know he could help me and win. Right off the bat I was ready to work with him after explaining my circumstances he was ready to fight even harder for me, but his services might not be needed. This blew me away I'd never heard of a lawyer wh...o didn't wanna take someone's money just to take it. He not only handled my case with the utmost celerity, he won, and called personally to inform me of the success. Mr. Nesbeth is a humble and honest man and a damn good lawyer! I only wish I'd have known about him sooner.

Attorney Ian Donovan Nesbeth

Attorney Ian D. Nesbeth, was my attorney on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at 3:00 pm at the court house in Tallahassee, FL. He suggested I plea bargain because in his opinion and experience I would be found guilty. He said that I could plead to a lesser charge and not be given the points or the fee wo...uld be lower, my case was driving carelessly. However, I was sure that I would get off because I was the person hit in the accident and not the witness. There were no witnesses, it was my word against the witness of the other vehicle. Attorney Nesbeth tried to persuade me to plead down but I was determined to say what I thought happened in the accident. He listened to what I wanted, and I wanted to go to court and not plead guilty to a lesser fine. Then the judge called my name, the police officer spoke first about the accident I was involved in. Then Attorney Nesbeth could then speak on my behalf. Due to the police officer neglecting to specify the district the accident took place, my Attorney Nesbeth asked for a dismissal because the officer didn't prove that the accident took place in Leon County. Without an attorney present with me, I wouldn't have known the technical problem and I would have been found guilty. However, thanks to Attorney Nesbeth being my representative, and his careful attention to the description of the accident report from the police officer, the charge was dropped immediately due to the Attorney's attentiveness to my case. I would definitely not go into court without Attorney Nesbeth; I was smart enough to know that. I would recommend him to anyone seeking counsel.
