Intelligent lawyer and man of integrity
Six months after my husband died, I was informed in South Florida, that my son was charged with two misdemeanors in Tallahassee. I needed a lawyer I could trust. Mr. Pumphrey was highly recommended by a reputable law firm in my city. He immediately took charge, and we didn’t have to travel seven hours for the proceedings. He ably advocated for my son. Foolishly my son didn’t follow the course negotiated by Mr. Pumphrey and made a mistake that was a felony. Mr. Pumphrey was compassionate and patient with both of us. He went on and beyond the call of duty to ensure we were all right while he handled the multitude of details to again advocate for my son. He personally got the final signature so my son and I could celebrate Christmas together . I would gladly give Mr. Pumphrey 10 stars for his skill, wise counseling, encouragement, and tenacity that saved my son’s reputation and put him on the right path. He is our knight in shining armor!!

During difficult time this is the man to have in your corner!
My son being young, violated his probation and falsified three drug test. He was facing felony charges. His life was ruined. Don fought for my son and the result was no conviction no felonies. He saved my son's future.

Don is absolutely THE BEST!!! Lets face it…. We all make mistakes right? When my son was in highschool we needed counsel on a DUI charge. This man and his team put us at ease immediately. He explained the legal process and took his case. With so many questions and uncertainty, they made it an unforgettable learning experience which left a positive impression on my son. While Don is the attorney you never WANT TO HAVE TO NEED, he also counsels snd teaches clients how to move forward and become productive citizens. Mr. Don Pumphrey, CFO Tracey, and the entire staff are: Accessible, Ballsy, Compassionate, Dedicated, Empathetic, Formidable, Genuine, Hardworking, Intelligent, Just, Kind, Lion-hearted, Masterful, Non-judgmental, Observant, Persistent, Quick-witted, Realistic, Sincere, Thoughtful, Upstanding, Vigilant, Well-grounded, Xenial, Yieldable, Zoetic. From the miracle of our first contact, through forty-three (43) months of a living, breathing nightmare, to the end that SHOULD have come in the first 24 hours, THIS man, his wife and their staff were Priceless. They took us in like family; sat and cried with us; got sickened by this case and its players with us; all the time moving forward. Onward. Don Pumphrey Law prepared us for the worst (and it came.) But he kept on the path with us until Justice clawed its way to the top. I sincerely hope you never have to see the filth, egos and complete disregard for justice too often on display in our Courts. If your college kid makes a mistake this is the attorney you need
I wish I would had hired Mr Pumphrey from the beginning. We send our kids to college and if they make a mistake, it is hard not knowing attorneys in Tallahassee. One day you receive a call and as a parent, you need to immmediately hire a good attorney. Take this advice from me and hire a litigator. As a parent, who was unaware of the laws, I quickly learned there is a difference between a litigator and an attorney who simply makes plea deals. The actions taken after your child's arrest make a lasting impact on your kid's life. Mr Pumphrey is the atttorney to hire. He will fight for your child versus settle. And if he needs to settle, believe me when I say the outcome will be better. My child is a free man with no charges, thanks to Don Pumphrey. Mr Pumphrey went out of his way to make this happen. He was able to vacate a prior plea (made by another ineffective attorney) and make the difference for my son's life. I am lucky an attorney in Miami referred me to Mr Pumphrey as being the best in Tallahassee. I am writing this review to help other parents who are in the situation I was as a parent. Look no further and trust you child's case to Don Pumphrey. Please don't allow your child to settle for less. Kids will grow and learn but a bad legal decision will impact your child forever.

Honest integrity
I sought an attorney for my son who is attending fsu. I needed someone I could trust because I live in a different county and can't always be there when my son needed me. Best Criminal Lawyer in Florida
When I went to see Don Pumphrey Jr. I needed help and didn't know what to do. He met with me (at no charge), listened to my story and then got the case nolle prossed. I highly recommend him to my friends and family when they need help. He's super knowledgeable and his staff is super responsive - always answered my calls and emails promptly. Slam dunk
Mr. Pumphrey took one look at my case and had all of the charges dismissed. These allegations were proven as untrue by Mr. Pumphrey and I have a new view on the practices of law enforcement.

He is a Fraud and a thief
Don Pumphrey is a fraud. He was my boyfriend's lawyer for 2 years and never even filed ONE motion (except for his motion to withdraw a month before the trial) never contacted any of his witnesses, took $10,000 and literally did NOTHING... other than ask for more money. He texted my boyfriend one day telling him to call ASAP, it was urgent. My boyfriend called him and got no answer, a couple of minutes later, Don texted asking him why he called because he was in a meeting and couldn't talk. It had only been 15 minutes since he had texted my boyfriend telling him to call, it was urgent!!! He sat in on a deposition that my boyfriend's co-defendants attorney was holding, and Don called my boyfriend by the WRONG NAME OVER 20 TIMES!! UGH!!! This guy is the WORST lawyer I've ever seen. DO NOT waste your money!!!
