Long Term Disability

When I consulted Matt and his team for LTD assistance, they were prompt, responsive, and organized. They made it very easy to get any paperwork submitted. Updates were frequent and spot on. Above all, he and his office staff were compassionate and caring, making a difficult situation SO much easier.... His office is also currently helping me with the SSD application process. Highly recommended.

A Difficult Triumph

I was referred to Matt to handle my complex disability case. I have to say initially I was reluctant due to past experiences with disability attorneys. I insisted on an in person interview to see if he was indeed the attorney for me. I met with Matt, discussed the issues at hand, my process to the p...oint that I was, and the direction of where my health was leading. I have to say that I was impressed with this law office from the time I first made phone contact. The staff at Matthew Liebenhaut's office have always been respectful, timely, understanding, and most importantly non-judgmental. There were times that I was not physically able to get to their office, so they came to me. I hired Matt last fall, as I was "lost" within the SSA system. He understood the importance and dire need of my case. Matthew and his staff are true advocates for their clients. I was impressed with the atmosphere of this office. It wasn't the corporate, better than thou environment. I respected Matthew's honesty and integrity, as I don't like sugar-coated bs. If I had concerns, Matt as well as his staff, were on top of getting me answers and resolutions. This office submitted requests to expedite my case and stayed on top of it. Ultimately, we had less than a two week notice of the hearing date. I, of coarse was freaking out; but Matt and his staff offered guidance and support. The day of the hearing, Matthew and I met prior to discuss concerns or questions. He took those concerns into the hearing. I felt that the judge had already made his decision prior to us entering in, which wasn't favorable. Matt, didn't express it; but I felt he was as concerned as I was. Matt addressed the judge, brought up the facts of my case, brought up concerns prior to the judge bringing them up, and asked pertinent questions. The judge also asked questions of myself, Matt, and the vocational specialist. At the end of the day, we laid out all the facts and medical evidence. I unfortunately was hospitalized the next day for a week, but while I was in the hospital; I received a call from the law office advising we had a decision. We had a favorable decision. We had a difficult triumph. Now I am looking forward to receiving the medical care I need in order to live a quality of life. Thank you to the Law Office of Matthew Liebenhaut! You gave me back hope and something to strive for!
