Marie assured me in my class action lawsuit that it was a "slam dunk" an "open and shut case" against the State if Florida. And that my case was "high priority" due I the amount of retaliation I'm still receiving unable to even get a job interview 4 years now. After over 4 years she emails me s...tating she withdrew from my case without any reason whatsoever After some of her team state they lost email that have evidence. Wowwww they all need to be criminally punished disbarred and more. They say something then Say they didn't Always record. Such a horrific experience.

attorney I worked with on my discrimination case demonstrated 1. substandard effort to represent me as i was told in a dogmatic fashion my case was not that strong because i don't have a smoking gun. what he considered smoking gun was that i was not called the n word and i did not have a noose on ...my desk. such a narrow dogmatic approach to place value on a case. if its not extreme situation then it cant be a valuable claim and small . i consider failure to promote extreme especially when it was obvious and easy to prove i was more qualified. settlement without a fight is imminent in this firms business model. 2. conflict of interest as their financial interest in settling low compromises their ability to act solely in the best interest of the client. philosophy is get something now than nothing or less later. 3. inadequate investigation and Discovery of my case. failure to understand the fine details as they are not important when trying to settle low which often times equates to determining the cost of opposing party legal fees; your settlement is no more valuable than the cost of the opposing parties estimated legal fees. 4. poor strategy. not much strategy other than settle quick. they have no interest/intention in dragging your claim out because the longer they have to work on the case and put hours in the less profitable it becomes as the probability of summary judgment being favorable is low as a employee compared to the employer.

My experience with this firm was very disappointing. The attorney, Dickens, I spoke with was dismissive and fast-talking, offering only his personal opinions instead of explaining the actual laws or reasons why I could or couldn’t sue after being fired on FMLA. I wasn’t looking for opinions—I expecte...d guidance backed by facts and legal knowledge. Instead, I was told to “get another opinion.” On top of that, the front desk staff was rude and unprofessional, which only added to the negative experience. I left the conversation with no clarity, no direction, and feeling completely disregarded. I was fired while on FMLA after it was approved 5 days prior. I was harassed the entire time of my employment never gave a reason of why being fired.

Marie cam highly recommended, once I hired her I found what a previous client said to be true "She could care less about you as a person, she takes cases that she has no intention on fighting". She strung me along for 2 years. She never knows anything about my case, always send other people to rep yo...u. I later found out the judge sent her multiple sanction letters for missing deadline. She responded to just about all of the sanctions stating we need extensions due to "ME" being sick (which was lies) and she never mentioned a thing to me about it. We got to the very end and she pulled out stating "conflict of interest " but could not explain to me what the conflict was. She happily walked me through how to sign the forms for the opposing counsel stating I will not pick the suit up against him later. All I could do was cry, I can't believe someone with these patterns and distasteful disregard is allowed to still practice. She would go months without contacting you. I believe my suit went as long as it didn't, no due to us winning but due to her not paying attention (hence the sanctions) worst attorney walking in Florida! gets you to sign that dotted line then her whole attitude changes! (that's if you can reach her again) gives one to many broken promises! her staff are sweethearts and severely over worked due to her slacking. make sure you check your own dockets because she will miss court dates, deadlines, and responses then blame you!
