Great Lawyer

Mr. Rudolph is very responsive and kept us informed at all times on the progress of the case. Communication EXCELLENT! Unlike these huge law firms, we were treated as people, not just a case number. We dealt with Mr. Rudolph directly 99% of the time, not a paralegal. We highly recommend the services ...of Mr. Rudoloh and his firm.

Talks a good game - did nothing he promised.

Talked a good game. Woefully unprepared at every step. Made promises but took no action. I regret hiring him.

Ghosted me

I had another Lawyer that transferred my paperwork to Michael Rudolph. I spoke with Michael Rudolph. He talked a big game like he can definitely handle my case.. And said as soon as all my stuff came over from the other Attorney. He will send me the paperwork to DocuSign and hire him. It’s been month...s now, and I have not heard a word from Michael Rudolph. I put a phone call into his office and left a message about 3 to 4 weeks ago. And I still have not even heard a call back. We are getting too close to the statute of limitations. There’s no way by now will be able to even get it in the court. If he wasn’t going to take decades, I wish you to just told me. So I wouldn’t have my hopes up. So I guess it’s perfectly legal for your company to basically fire you for getting hurt on a job. So I guess the only thing I have to wait for is my Social Security disability.

“Communication is the key to good representation”

Michael Rudolph in my opinion is a very poor Attorney when it comes to effectiveness and especially communication. I contracted with him to represent me on a Worker Comp claim. On the day I meet with him to discuss my claim I explained to him in great detail that I had canceled my agreement to two p...revious Attorneys in the past due to them NOT communicating with me concerning my claim. He looked me strait in my eyes and stated that he would communicate with me in a timely manner, he went on to say that emailing him would be the most effective form of communication with him, therefore I hired him to represent me. Over the next serval weeks I found him to be as hard to reach as the other Attorneys, such as, Never being available when you call his office- Always gone or “ in with a client” or “ In with another Attorney” When I couldn’t get in touch with him by phone, I was informed to schedule an appointment with him through his Paralegal. The appointment is always a week later. In addition to that emailing him proved to be just as bad. I went to the doctor and was informed I needed surgery, I informed Michel Rudolph of this. I waited for a couple of weeks and never heard anything from the insurance carrier or Michael Rudolph concerning getting the surgery done, in the meanwhile I’m hurting daily. I emailed Michael Rudolph concerting this, simply asking him for a status update- 5 days later I still had not heard so as a “ hey I got your email and I’m working on it” or anything to acknowledge he received my email. After a couple of more days I copied onto the original email asking “ any word on this” this time I copied his Paralegal. This time no reply from him or his Paralegal. Nothing as simple as we are working on it, or we received your email from Michael Rudolph or his Paralegal. I then made a call to his Paralegal and asked had they gotten my emails. She stated “yes” she got it and informed me that I should have copied her on the first email. She then informed me that he was “ in with another Attorney and would be getting back to me after the other Attorney left” she went on to say that he asked her for my file. So I said “ no worries” and waited for a call....that I never received. After two days that was the final straw. I emailed Michel Rudolph and informed him that I was unhappy with how I was, in my opinion being ignored, and no longer wanted his representation. Needless to say this emailed was answered within nine hours- not nine days. Not only did he answer the email within nine hours, he contacted the opposing attorney, got his blessing on withdrawing from my case and then filed a lien on my claim all within twelve hours of receiving my termination email. But he felt it unnecessary to answer my email about me getting surgery or a simple update on my claim 12 days. This is why I feel to say the least a complete unexceptionable representation by Michael Rudolph and the entire RIE law firm. I have also filed complaint with the Florida Bar Association concerning Michael Rudolph and the RIE law firm.

Mr. Williams was a difficult client to please, as evidenced by his termination of every attorney he hired for this case. I did not need the opposing attorney’s consent, but once terminated it was our duty on his behalf to notify opposing counsel and file the appropriate paperwork. We wish him nothing but the best.

"I endorse Michael Rudolph as a great Workers Compensation and Social Security Disability lawyer. I have worked with Michael as a law partner. I have shared cases and co-counseled cases with Micheal. He and his law partners and staff are the best in these areas of practice in North Florida, hands down. I strongly recommend Michael and his firm. And, he is a genuinely good person."

"Mike and I represented a client involved in a catastrophic automobile accident while working as a subcontractor for a painting contractor. The insurance company denied workers' compensation. After fighting the insurance company for over 2 years including an appeal to the 1st DCA of Florida, Mike helped our client eventually settle his claim for a total of $1.1 million."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
