This man is a complete fraud!!!A friend of mine learn of this man through the internet because he had a lot of great reviews. This was the worst mistaken she could have made! She was filing bankruptcy, and he is handling her request, or she though he was handling it. My friends learn from the count...y courts that no paperwork had been filed for her for bankruptcy. This lawyer told her that her request denied, and he needs more money to file it paperwork again. When she questions him or tried to contact him for questions, he will not return her text or calls to meet him in person. I would not recommend his services to anyone.

I was referred to Mr. Doty in 2023. I reached out to him about my issues I had and he immediately scheduled an appointment. We filed in September and finalized in January. I do not recommend Mr. Stephen Michael Doty as your family attorney. I went with him with a case of change of parental sharing time from my ex-husband, who was paying child support because in shared custody, I had most of the time and my daughter lived with me. Mr. Doty took my case without even ta...king the time to listen to the situation of the case, telling me that I did not have to worry because the father did not have the slightest chance to change the parental sharing plan in his favor. I took his word for it and hired him. After a year of the process, I ended up losing most of the time with my daughter and also paying child support and all the other demands that my daughter's father wanted to add, in addition to having paid a large sum of money to Mr. Doty for such absent legal representation.
