An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
Rehan's comment:“A former client filed a complaint after the circuit court ruled in my favor and awarded me attorney's fee to represent him in an employment discrimination action. I represented the client over a period of two to three years and he improperly terminated my representation just before the final arbitration hearing. His former employer and the respondent in the discrimination action interpleaded the arbitration award in the circuit court. Circuit Court ruled in my favor and awarded me the fees.”

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.
