Horrible!!! RUN
I had a consult with this firm, It seems legit, they took my 3000 dollars for a Bankruptcy case, and when I went back I met with Mr Nichols, I thought he was a paralegal who was helping me with the paperwork, he was RUDE, mean, bullied me, had me in tears, I had to leave the office, I became ill and...
Mentally Ill client: Ms. S. has admitted both verbally and in writing that she has a history of nervous breakdowns requiring hospitalizations. While representing Ms. S. she was highly erratic. One minute she was crying inconsolably and then laughing and joking the next minute. Ms. S. ran in and out of the office repeatedly. She drove away from the office and came back multiple times. She complained that my staff were going to kill her. She stated that she was going to speak to God in the parking lot. She has complained that if she drove across the bridge that we would kill her. Ms. S. stated that if she went outside the office that she would die. One of the staff called the police to prevent her from hurting herself. She is also upset that when she was screaming in the parking lot and jumping up and down onto the curb, that one of the business owners in the next suite was laughing at her and that another business owner also called the police to report that she was a danger to herself and others. Ms. S. retained my firm for a joint bankruptcy with her husband. She told me that she was going to lie to her husband about being included in the joint bankruptcy. This is why I specifically wrote on page one of the retainer that “client’s husband must attend all necessary meetings, hearings.” When reviewing and analyzing her bankruptcy documents she again lied about the number of times she has been sued for not paying her bills. She lied about owning a house. She lied about owning a car. She lied and stated that she would tell the Federal Trustee that she was penniless when in reality she had more than $6,000.00 in the bank. She was advised that the Trustee would review public records as to lawsuits, cars, and owning a home. She was advised that the Federal Trustee always requested bank statements to verify peoples’ finances. On 8/28/17, Ms. S. specifically signed that she was advised: “Please be honest; please disclose all assets; SATISFIED with representation; husband required to attend court.” I believe the reason that Ms. S. is now dis-satisfied is because she was advised that her conduct was un-ethical and criminal. She was specifically advised that perjury was a Federal crime punishable by incarceration. She stated that it was her right to lie and go to prison. Ms. S. insisted that we also lie for her. She was advised this was not ethical and that we could not assist her in perpetuating a fraud upon the Court. At that time Ms. S. terminated representation.
