I wish I could have hired TaxSmith 10 to 15 years earlier, as it could have saved me thousands of dollars and reelieved me of years of anxiety. IF you have a tax burden that haunts you from the past, this is safe and trustworthy organization. TTaxSmith analyzed my situation, discussed with me the... possible solutions, and possible outcomes, and then upon hiring, did what they said they would do. They did more for me than we originally discussed (lowering my tax debts,) and suceeded in eliminating 100% of my tax burdens. Even though I live in California and TaxSmith is in Florida, it never stood in the way of getting me results in both my Federal tax burden as well as my tax debt owed to Ca.franchise tax board. I hired Tax Attorney Angie Lee Smith of Tax Smith in January 2017 to help me with a life altering tax problem I suffered for years; because of the tax problem I suffered my life was in shambles and I was about to give up. Some power that be introduced me to Tax Smith and that January day my life bega...n to change...for the better. Attorney Smith and her staff worked extremely well with me and assured me that there was an answer to my tax problem, Attorney Smith SOLVED MY PROBLEM with the IRS. It is now late April 2017 and I can proudly say, Tax Smith has gotten me where I need to be. Tax Smith worked with me to be able to afford their services and that was of the utmost importance. I had nothing because of my tax problem, and Attorney Smith's willingness to help me even though I was cash strapped, makes her a saint in my eyes. I was put on an easy, affordable, payment plan and I didn't have to wait for her and her staff to get to work on my case. The garnishments and phone calls from the IRS stopped very quickly and I was able to start re building my financial life because of that. Attorney Smith and her team of paras became almost like family to me. They are always honest and communicative about what I needed to do to help them help me and they were very motivating to me and they GOT THE JOB DONE! I really can't gush and compliment Tax Smith enough! I never really was one to write reviews of services, but Attorney Smith and her team deserve accolades for their professional, diligent and caring work. In my case the IRS claims I'm in arrears of over $70k. I really felt doomed with my financial life. Attorney Smith got me a solution and a resolution with the IRS. BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I spoke with Angie who was great sales woman, she put my mind at ease and told me many things that all sounded great so I felt trust in the company and paid them. Here are the issues: 1. I would call and request to speak with Angie but was informed by her staff ...they would talk to her and get back to me which would take days to weeks to hear anything from them again and many times they wouldn't call me back at all until I again re contacted them. 2. Things went great with the company until the very end--I was told great news they got an agreement which they sent me in the official taxsmith contract- a manageable monthly payment plan for 72 months--- issue there is if I paid that amount over 72 months I would be paying the IRS an extra 20 grand then I owe- when I contacted the lawyer at taxsmith he responded to me it was a mistake and would get back to me (which he never did). I then got a letter from the IRS saying taxsmith agreed to a titrating plan (which started manageable in the first few month but would become unmanageable by the end and pay off the debt in 3 years) I again contacted the lawyer and he said there was a mistake he would talk to Angie and get it sorted out, he wouldn't respond to me again I asked to speak to Angie and was told "NO" then was told I would just have to "deal with it." I then realized then I would have to hire another lawyer 3. I was contacted by staff and informed the lawyer that worked on my case was gone and had personal issues he was dealing with when working there and they apologized for what happened, they said not to hire another lawyer and that they would get worked out. When they looked at the plan they said I didn't even qualify for a titration plan and it should have been the manageable plan to pay the debt off over the 60-72 months (like I was told when I first signed up with the company) I was told not to worry, not to hire a new lawyer, and they would get it all sorted out--- I've reached out since then and no one will even will talk to me, the meetings they scheduled with me they never attended and I've been "blown off." 4. Since then I've had to hire a new tax lawyer for thousands of dollars who looked at the case and said that TAXSMITH IS A SCAM, my current lawyer is fixing the disaster taxsmith did with the IRS and recommended I do a review to warn everyone so others. 5. So yes they did as promised and stopped liens, but did not help with any waiving of penalties (which I was told could be done) and which my current lawyer is doing now, they are horrible at responding and answering any questions, and everything they said could be done in the beginning was never done. ADVISE TO EVERYONE SAVE YOUR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND HIRE A LEGITIMATE LAWYER THAT ACTUALLY DOES WHAT THEY SAID THEY WILL DO. After this experience I agree with my current lawyer that "TAXSMITH ARE SCAM ARTISTS,"

I hired Angie Smith in February of 2015 to help with a tax issue I was having. I failed to file 2 years of taxes, & now owed a HUGE amount of money to the IRS, mostly in tax & penalties. My experience was less than satisfactory. I paid $4,000 for this help. At one point they forgot about me for mo...nths. When my 'conclusion' was reached it horrified me. I went to this Attorney because I owed back taxes, huge amounts in penalties, and my credit was bad. I still do. The only ''conclusion'' I got was I STILL owe the full amount, plus interest & penalties. I am STILL getting killed with interest & penalties, & my credit is still bad, & the IRS can STILL come after me any time they want. What exactly did they do for me? They cashed my $4,000 check. That's what they did.

Owing the IRS for years can be a very scary thing, not knowing where to turn or what to do can be even scarier. I ignored my tax debt for years, hid the fact we owed from my wife.
