This is my second year using Attorney Angie Smith and the law firm of TaxSmith. Everyone has been continually kind, understanding and have been able help us resolve our tax issues. In my opinion, they go above and beyond to help! If you are needing basic tax advisement or help with tax issues, Ang...ie Smith and her team is who you should call!!

My whole experience with Angie Smith and her Taxsmith staff was wonderful! She laid things out to me before I hired her. Very straight forward and cut and dried!! Her staff including Shaniece and Jimmy went above and beyond to help me get my tax situation under control. The whole experience was handl...ed with respect and sincerity and above all professionalism. They answered any and all questions I had and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I spoke with Angie who was great sales woman, she put my mind at ease and told me many things that all sounded great so I felt trust in the company and paid them. Here are the issues: 1. I would call and request to speak with Angie but was informed by her staff ...they would talk to her and get back to me which would take days to weeks to hear anything from them again and many times they wouldn't call me back at all until I again re contacted them. 2. Things went great with the company until the very end--I was told great news they got an agreement which they sent me in the official taxsmith contract- a manageable monthly payment plan for 72 months--- issue there is if I paid that amount over 72 months I would be paying the IRS an extra 20 grand then I owe- when I contacted the lawyer at taxsmith he responded to me it was a mistake and would get back to me (which he never did). I then got a letter from the IRS saying taxsmith agreed to a titrating plan (which started manageable in the first few month but would become unmanageable by the end and pay off the debt in 3 years) I again contacted the lawyer and he said there was a mistake he would talk to Angie and get it sorted out, he wouldn't respond to me again I asked to speak to Angie and was told "NO" then was told I would just have to "deal with it." I then realized then I would have to hire another lawyer 3. I was contacted by staff and informed the lawyer that worked on my case was gone and had personal issues he was dealing with when working there and they apologized for what happened, they said not to hire another lawyer and that they would get worked out. When they looked at the plan they said I didn't even qualify for a titration plan and it should have been the manageable plan to pay the debt off over the 60-72 months (like I was told when I first signed up with the company) I was told not to worry, not to hire a new lawyer, and they would get it all sorted out--- I've reached out since then and no one will even will talk to me, the meetings they scheduled with me they never attended and I've been "blown off." 4. Since then I've had to hire a new tax lawyer for thousands of dollars who looked at the case and said that TAXSMITH IS A SCAM, my current lawyer is fixing the disaster taxsmith did with the IRS and recommended I do a review to warn everyone so others. 5. So yes they did as promised and stopped liens, but did not help with any waiving of penalties (which I was told could be done) and which my current lawyer is doing now, they are horrible at responding and answering any questions, and everything they said could be done in the beginning was never done. ADVISE TO EVERYONE SAVE YOUR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND HIRE A LEGITIMATE LAWYER THAT ACTUALLY DOES WHAT THEY SAID THEY WILL DO. After this experience I agree with my current lawyer that "TAXSMITH ARE SCAM ARTISTS,"

I found Angie Smith and TaxSmith through NOLO.com. I checked them out on Yelp and on Florida's Better Business Bureau Website and I was impressed. Now I am not only impressed but strongly grateful as well. TaxSmith is an effective, talented, professional, accessible, customer-service-oriented law fir...m and they know what they're doing. They don't just help-- they get results. The IRS and California FTB are inaccessible, arbitrary, and capricious. Having Angie as my Power of Attorney and having Shaniece Riley follow through with every step along the way means that I am now making livable payments to the IRS and FTB instead of having them garnish my wages for a much higher amount. And when the IRS and FTB messed up on the mechanism of the payments, Shaniece and Angie straightened it out for me. The IRS and FTB never would have listened to me. James Vidal was also a huge help, getting me started and supporting Shaniece's work along the way. Cayenne Foster so kindly and helpfully worked with me on my payments to TaxSmith.
