HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE, from beginning to end; No return calls, Never went and visited my son in jail (well maybe 2 times) in the whole 3 years he was in jail. No updates on anything, took our money and sided with the state!!!!!!!!! He never even tried to do anything, not even a little bit. Acte...d like he hated to even see us in court. Never felt like he was on our side and that is not good for any defense attorney to make his clients feel that way. We will be reaching out the bar association, as he did nothing. Phone calls, emails, updates, jail visits, NONE OF THAT WAS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE KEEP A PAPER TRAIL OF EVERYTHING IF YOU HIRE THIS FLETCHER GUY. A HUGE WASTE OF OUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!!

I hired Charles Fletcher to help me overturn my sentence of life in prison with 95 years consecutive. At the time he accepted my case, I already had an appeal attorney file a brief that I did not like and I filed my own brief even though I didn't know much about the law. Mr. Fletcher convinced the ap...peal court to let him file a brief for me over huge objections by the Attorney General. He won my appeal and got me resentenced BUT the trial court just gave me the same life sentence and the same 95 consecutive years! Mr. Fletcher did not give up. He really got down into the details of my case and consulted with me regularly an d with my family. There were times I was frustrated and scared I would die in prison, but Chuck asked us to be patient, and boy did my patience pay off! He filed a motion for postconviction relief on my behalf that my trial lawyer was ineffective for failing to correct false testimony the State knew was false and still let happen. Before we even had a hearing, the State Attorney called Chuck who was able to negotiate me a 15-year prison sentence, of which I've already done a lot of it. The most important thing is that I AM COMING HOME! I am not going to spend the rest of my life in prison and I owe Chuck everything for that. I don't care what anyone else says about Mr. Fletcher. He was aggressive with the State, and he really, really fought for me. I'm not just saying that either, he went out of his way to get new evidence in my case that I could not have gotten on my own, and now instead of facing a hopeless future I now look forward to rejoining my family and society and if it weren't for Chuck I'd still be stuck here forever. If you need someone to fight for you or someone you love, take it from me, Chuck is the lawyer you want. I wish I could leave him 10 stars because he never gave up on me, even when finances became difficult, and I really felt that he understood how important my case was. I hope I never need another lawyer, but if I ever do, the only one I would EVER call is him.

This is not a good lawyer after hired he never answer phone calls, give updates in your case. He does not care about any bodies cases he only wants to take your money and after that he never answer any phone calls or messages. This lawyer ask you for the full amount in advance and after that you neve...r hear or get in contact with this lawyer. My son got convicted and he did not do nothing to help him, up to this date I've been asking him for the discovery papers and he has not answer yet or send me what I've been asked; do not hire him he does not care about people's life he only care about your money and that's it. I have to marked a star since it does not allow you to leave a "0"
