Biography
I graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law in 1985. I was an associate with attorney Lansing Roy practicing Florida bankruptcy law. In 1992 I joined my current firm of Ruff & Cohen, P.A. in 1992. I have handled, on behalf of debtors, in excess of 100 Chapter 11 reorganization cases, several thousand Chapter 7 cases, several hundred Chapter 13 cases, and even some rare Chapter 12 cases. I have over25 years of legal experience. I am admitted to every Florida bankruptcy court. I have successfully handled bankruptcy appeals in the Florida state courts, in federal Bankruptcy and District courts, and at the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
