Felony 1st Degree, Case: Dismissed

Mr. Stephen B. Kelly, Jr. Esq. is a MUST for selection in hiring/consulting a private Attorney. There are many adjectives to describe the exemplary services he provided; however, I want to be clear, concise and qualitative. *Adeptness -Upon our initial meeting, Mr. Kelly showed his skill and pro...ficiency by listening intently, taking detailed notes and fervently asking questions to gain the most insight on the events leading to the charges. *Compassion -Stephen showed kindness, care, and sincerity in his willingness to help. I really felt that he was putting himself in my shoes and was feeling for me. In a time which I felt most vulnerable, I had a sense of relief knowing that Mr. Kelly was an advocate of mine. *Research -I gained confidence and felt rest assured, knowing that Mr. Kelly was conducting a systematic investigation and studying materials/sources, thus, reaching fact-based evidence, subsequently leading to the dismissal of my case. *Communication -It's a cliche' to say that communication is key; nevertheless, good communication is pertinent between an attorney and his/her client. The duration of my case, (which was closed), lasted approximately a year. At all times, I was kept abreast of the proceedings of the case. I never felt uninformed, nor excluded. *Punctuality -Punctuality is a characteristic of being able to complete a required task or fulfill an obligation before or at a previously designated time. With that being said, Mr. Kelly demonstrated a high level of proactivity, always being ahead of the prosecution and having the wherewithal to file motions and depose individuals in a timely manner, resulting in the success of my case being dismissed. *Attorney-client privilege -Mr. Kelly and I share a circle of professional friends, and I can earnestly say that not once did I have any inclination that anyone was aware of the case/charges against myself. Felony 3rd Degree

Stephen is the best!! I have hired him twice on felony charges. With grace and determination he was able to get both of these charges dropped. There is not a lawyer in Jacksonville I would trust more the Mr.Kelly. He is such an honest and empathetic person. If you are looking for a lawyer and come ac...ross Kelly, hire him! Family first

I retained him for a felony case. This was something that makes you can't eat or sleep. Let's just be clear it would have changed my sons life forever. Mr. Kelly had this dropped down to tresspassing with time served. Stephen is professional and passionate about people. He prides himself on serving ...his clients and understand that money is hard earned so he'll make sure its well spent.

Man with a Plan

Steve Kelly has amazing skill and combined with his charm, he is the one you need on your side. I was caught up in an unfortunate situation where charges were put on me for defending myself against my abusive boyfriend. Steve gathered the evidence needed and presented it to the prosecuting attorney w...here she too saw that this case was ridiculous. He didn't stop there, he met with the "victim" who was set on persuing these charges against me and laid it all out for him. Steve worked his magic, assuring that if these charges were persued, this would not be the end and we would push back by proving my innocence and pressing criminal charges on this so called victim. The charges were dropped and I'm free to get on with my life. Thank you Steve Kelly, you saved my nursing license and ultimately the way I provide for my children. I cannot express to you enough how greatful I am to have you represent me. I hope to never have to need legal assistance again but if I do, Steve Kelly will be my first choice, I know he will go above and beyond to take care of his clients.
