I am a Jacksonville native and was born in 1971. I have lived here all of my life except for seven great years in Gainesville attending the University of Florida. I moved back right after graduation from law school and have resided in the San Marco area ever since. My home and the law firm are in the same neighborhood.
My personal interests include MLB, especially the American League games, Gator football, golf, WWII history, backgammon, tennis, the greatest rock band: Pearl Jam, and many Sundays are spent watching NFL games and NASCAR races.
On the professional side, I enthusiastically practice criminal defense and have a busy family law practice. I have regularly practiced in both areas since I became licensed in 2001. The Harris Guidi law firm has been my home since 2007. There are 9 attorneys in the firm who, collectively, practice in many areas of the law, such as personal injury cases, automobile accidents, medical malpractice, workers compensation, social security disability, traffic tickets, drivers license issues, longshore, commercial and corporate litigation, appeals, and many other types of cases. Prior to this firm, I worked with a small law firm in Callahan for seven years.
I have a dog named Dexter and a young nephew named Brock who loves skateboarding and can almost fly when he skates in and out of empty pools and over ramps. Most of my family resides here in town. My father relocated to North Carolina several years ago to enjoy his retirement, residing 5 minutes away from a beautiful golf course surrounded by mountains at which he spends almost every day of the week.
Practicing law is the best job in the world. I enjoy it immensely. Every day is different. Each client is treated as a person, is unique, and is trying to overcome whatever problems he or she is experiencing. That is when I come into their lives. My job is to mitigate the trouble, to alleviate the obstacles to a productive life, and ease their way into the next chapter of their lives.

I previously worked against Chris Wilson on a family law matter, but I am happy to endorse him even so. He is a skilled, experienced litigator who works hard on his client's behalf and who remains professional and level-headed despite the usually heightened emotions in any divorce or family law case. Don't get me wrong -- I happily represent clients seeking family law help here in Jacksonville. But if a potential client felt that we weren't the right fit, or was conflicted out from my representation, then I would be happy to suggest they seek out Chris for very competent and efficient representation. He's an ethical and excellent family law trial attorney.
Michael Giel Divorce and separation Attorney
Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
I had the distinct pleasure of working with Chris Wilson for more than four years at my prior firm. Chris is dedicated to each of his clients, meticulous in his presentation and prosecution of the defense of his clients, and driven by a passion for achieving the best possible result for his clients. He is well known in the legal community, and has achieved an excellent reputation while practicing before the local courts. Chris is extremely comfortable and effective in the courtroom, and spends more time during a normal work week in court than out of it. I highly recommend Chris for both criminal defense and family law matters.
