Couldn't have been any better

Joseph has been a savior for my divorce and dealing with my extremely difficult and unstable ex-wife. I have been through a few lawyers and was not getting the assistance I needed. That ended when I was recommended to visit the Zisser law firm as I knew that was one of the top firms in Jacksonville f...or family law. His best quality is what another lawyers struggle with... Communication. I understand that lawyers are busy but the uncertainty of knowing what is going on is important and Joseph seems to understand that. He always had the best interest of my child and is very knowledgeable about the process. Also, he is equipped with some of the best resources in the business working with the Zisser law firm. Cost is reasonable and well worth it. I highly recommend Joseph Alvarez.

Hard work pays off

Joseph Alvarez worked extremely hard for my divorce, and I got a favorable outcome for myself and my children. He invested much energy and put his high professionalism and methodic skills at work in organizing all of our complicated case together for a heavy trial. He never let any detail out and had... our children's best interest in mind at all times, as well as what mattered most for myself. Indeed, Mr. Alvarez put those matters on the table when they were being disregarded by my ex spouse's attorney or not considered by the court, and won my request every time. I am very grateful for the big wins in our family situation thanks to his tremendous work, and would highly recommend Joseph Alvarez to work for you and your family in time of need.

Mr. Alvarez was very compassionate and empathetic towards my situation regarding child support. I was taken advantaged of and treated unfairly in terms of my child's mother and in turn was put on child support wrongfully. Mr. Alvarez took action immediately. He did not procrastinate in researching... and developing a defense for me. As a result, the child support arrearage was removed without the hassle of going to court. In addition, his fees were affordable.If you are looking for an aggressive attorney , Mr. Alvarez is the man to see.

Great in the courtroom, average outside

Joseph made it sound like we had a strong case for making me the sole educational authority but failed to mention until nearly one year later what this would entail. To prove this we'd need multiple witnesses, grade reports, and written statements to the minor's educational detriment, all of which w...ould be extremely expensive. However, Mr. Alvarez was exceptional in the courtroom and managed to persuade the judge to lift an injunction, restore my living arrangements, and visitation rights. Three stars for the communication, which oftentimes felt lacking, but five stars for the injunction. Average it out and that's four
