A Gift from God

Joseph and his team are incredible. I was dealing with a long distance divorce/custody case, with homeschooled children. I'd had a couple of attorneys, only one of whom actually helped, but then things seemed to fall apart. I needed to make some changes because my children were not doing well. Our ...plan hadn't been finalized yet, so time was of the essence. A few other mommas, in a similar situation, recommended Joe. I consulted with a few attorneys, but none of them were willing to really listen. All of them left me feeling hopeless and very triggered. After years of psychological and emotional abuse, I wasn't in a place to be able to handle those types of attorneys. Joe was different. He was careful, calm, kind, and compassionate, but still straightforward with no b.s. I felt safe. I think that's what all of us want, really. Joe stayed in communication with me. He didn't leave me hanging. He kept me informed, answered every question, and was patient through all of it. He didn't yell at me (yeah, that has happened before). He helped me see things that needed to be seen and understand from better perspectives. It was a bonus that we saw eye to eye on some things and I didn't feel like I had to defend myself to him. We were able to come up with a new plan that kept the children's best interests as the top priority and avoid going to trial. I'm truly grateful and blessed. God put him in my path right when I needed it most. I have given his information to several mommas who are in need of help, and will continue to do so.

Best lawyer ever

I hired Mr. Alvarez as my divorce attorney. My case was complicated. Mr. Alvarez understood when I told him that I needed to take time and settle other legal issues that I was involved with my ex-husband and our business. He made sure that settling other legal issues were included in our divorce agre...ement. And when I was ready to settle, he acted very fast and professional. He is a great lawyer and has a big heart. Even after my divorce is over, he always responds to my emails if I have any questions.

Joe was the third lawyer I consulted with and I retained him because he immediately began action on my case with a winner’s attitude. I consider myself a moderate person and wanted fairness overall. My ex called him aggressive, but I saw him fight for my rights and was extremely pleased that he could... counter her appalling, unfair, and unrealistic advances on my divorce case. My ex even congratulated me on retaining a good lawyer because she still considered the mediation-resolved consent final judgement to be unfair to her! Joe knew exactly how to leverage the TEN undisclosed accounts she was using to hide money from equitable distribution. Joe pulled me out of a previous and unfair legal agreement and set me on the best ground to start life as a divorced parent of three. Mr. Alvarez was very compassionate and empathetic towards my situation regarding child support. I was taken advantaged of and treated unfairly in terms of my child's mother and in turn was put on child support wrongfully. Mr. Alvarez took action immediately. He did not procrastinate in researching... and developing a defense for me. As a result, the child support arrearage was removed without the hassle of going to court. In addition, his fees were affordable.If you are looking for an aggressive attorney , Mr. Alvarez is the man to see.
