I am so very thankful for this lawyer!

When my wife left and took our kids and wouldn't let me see them...I was very angry, scared and depressed. I met with Mrs. Maxey and she immediately understood my concerns and frustrations. She explained in detail the law and my rights. Repeatedly. Sometimes when you are very upset it is hard to ...understand things. Mrs. Maxey was very patient, kind and considerate and never seemed "put out" to have to re-explain things to me. Mrs. Maxey told me exactly what I needed to do and how much things would cost (depending on different variables). She explained to me what things I could do to help lower the cost of my divorce. What I liked best about Mrs. Maxey is that she explained to me about the impact of our divorce on our children. She helped me to understand how to make our children my primary focus and to stop worrying about my wife, her relatives and her "gang" of friends. Once I stopped worrying about everyone that was trying to bring me down and focused on being the best Father and role-model for my children, I found peace. No matter what my Wife did, Mrs. Maxey would not let me retaliate (even when I really wanted to). She made me understand that my children were watching everything we did--and would remember. I am now proud of how I conducted myself even when my spouse tried to drag me in the gutter. I have no regrets. I know that I remained a good example for my children. Guess what??!!! Not only did my children notice, but our friends and both families and especially the Judge!!! Mrs. Maxey is an example of a fine human being and the best lawyer there is! Thanks Mrs. Maxey!!!

Competent. Efficient. On top of her game

Ms. Maxey is the attorney you want if you want to be confident you have hired someone who knows what they are doing. From the first meeting you will be guided by an attorney that knows the ins and outs of the legal minefield you are entering. She will guide you every step of the way. If you follow he...r instructions exactly, you will not have anything to worry about, i.e. running up costs. She is methodical and prepared and knows exactly what she is doing. It is comforting to have such a professional there by you every step of the way.

NON RESPONSIVE - DO NOT HIRE

DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER – SHE WAS TOTALLY NON-RESPONSIVE TO MY EMAIL AND PHONE CALLS. SHE HAD EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE ON WHY SHE COULDN’T TALK OR ANSWER EMAIL QUESTIONS. HER OFFICE MADE SEVERAL CRITICAL ADMINISTRATIVE ERRORS: I CAUGHT AN ERROR ON MY SSN WITH CHARACTERS INSTEAD OF NUMBERS, SIMPLE REV...IEW OF THE DOCUMENT BY A SUMMER TEMP WOULD HAVE CAUGHT IT; THEY OVER BILLED MY ACCOUNT BY $250 ON THE FIRST BILL; THEN SENT THE WRONG BILL AND DEMANDED PAYMENT. I WAS PREEMPTED ON 3 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS FOR SCHEDULED PHONE CONVERSATIONS. SHE TOOK AN EXTRA MONTH TO FILE PAPERWORK BECAUSE SHE FAILED TO CHECK IF HISTORY FILE WAS AVAILABLE ON LINE. FINALLY, WHEN I ASKED FOR A FACE-TO-FACE MEETING SHE COULDN’T BE BOTHERED.

I would highly recomend this attorney if you would like your case handled by a caring, knowledgeable, and well respected person. The day I contacted her she took time out of her busy schedule to talk to me and made sure I knew all my options concerning my case. She kept me well informed and did not... stop until the case was resolved.
