I was very nervous when I received a summons from Midland Funding. I had a number of ads from Michael Tierney's law firm that had come in the mail. I spoke with one of his paralegals, who sent me some papers to read and sign. Mr Tierney's firm got my case dismissed very quickly. When I was served my summons and complaint over bad debt with an awful credit card company which I thought I had settled months before but the debt was bought out by Midland Funding LLC, where they in turn sued me for $1,000 + dollars. I was worried sick from this point as I had never been sued for ...anything and there was a threat of this being on my credit report and employers could see this...etc.! I was loosing sleep over this. I work in the legal field so I knew what a headache this could be. After that I got an flooded in the mail with attorneys and mediators wanting to handle my case and settle for and X-amount but I thought No, I do not owe this company one more dime! Some attorney's letters said they would represent me for free other said did not specify an amount but did cost something, but Michael Tierney's stuck out and plus they send you a couple at least twice a week in a manila envelope. I then consulted with an attorney I work with and he recommended I got to this office as their reputation is undisputed and feared. After reading the numerous reviews on this site I began to get some hope. I emailed my summons and complaint to the designated email address inside the flyer and wrote them a brief synopsis of what happened with this bad debt. They email you back same day with an electronic retainer and documents outlining what will happen during your case and that they will collect no fees from you. So What's in it for them, right? They try to collect fees from the other party suing you and I also consulted with another attorney to make sure this is legit. I then emailed my retainer back to them last Tuesday on December 29, 2015 and I checked my email yesterday on January 04, 2015 .... and RELIEF! Enclosed in a closing letter was my Notice of Voluntary Dismissal of the case! They also let you know it should be gone from your credit report as well! There is also a document that lets you know that if they try to sue you again or try to call you to collect to let them know immediately. Working in the legal field I am impressed with the professionalism and speed in which this firm worked to handle my case and get it out of my life for good. If you are reading this now know that these reviews are true and this did happen to me! They really can help you and I would definitely recommend this firm to anyone with a pressing legal matter. Received add from Michael Tierney's firm after Midland filed suit against us. We signed retainer agreement on Sunday, he filed Notice on Monday, and got Dismissal with Prejudice on Thursday of the same week ! The office was quick to respond to our email questions. Rare to find this kind of 5 STAR... service in this day and age. Highly recommend Michael Tierney's firm !

I was very nervous when I received the summons to appear in court due to Midland Funding suing me. I began to receive quite a few solicitation letters from different law groups. I contacted Tierney's office and the young lady, Meetu who answered the phone, explained the process and how no fees are ...to be paid out of pocket by me regardless of the outcome of case. I was a little hesitant to believe I didn't have to pay as it sounded too good. She sent me the retainer agreement which outlined exactly what I was told. I was please the documents I received were written in a matter I could understand as I did not attend law school. After I retained them as my attorney I was notified with in 5-7 days the case was dismissed and I was not required to pay. I do not plan on having to use them again for this sort matter but if you are reading this and hesitant on who should assist with your case I recommend Tierney's law office. Thank you again.

I was being sued By Midland Funding and I had nowhere to go for help. Then I received a letter from Mr. Tierney offering help to me and to represent me for free. My son had used Mr. Tierney for the same reason of being sued by Midland Funding. He told me to call Mr. Tierney and see if he could hel...p me. I thought it might be a bit to good to get anything for free, but I contacted Mr. Tierney’s office anyway. Everyone that I came in contact with was very professional and helpful. I was assured that it would be cost free for me to be represented by Mr. Tierney. So, I took a chance and went with Mr. Tierney to represent me. His office kept me updated regarding my case at all times. It only took a short time, (and I am talking about just one and a half days); before they contacted me back and told me that the case against me by Midland Funding had been dismissed with Prejudice.
