Midland Funding was kind enough to notify me of a pending lawsuit via a subpoena. They also called and wanted to settle prior to going to court. I chose to contact Attorney Michael Tierney instead. His firm had sent me correspondence regarding this suit and after I researched him and his firm, I... called. From the beginning his Paralegal Jackie was fantastic. She was prompt and helpful and inside of a couple of hours I had retained Mr. Tierney's firm. As promised, the lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice and the debt(which I didn't think I owed anyway) was gone. I had a judgment against me from Midland Credit. They were the only people that would not work with me. I was solicited by the firm. I called to speak with a paralegal, signed some forms and 2 days later I received notificiation that I owe no money. I was very nervous when I received the summons to appear in court due to Midland Funding suing me. I began to receive quite a few solicitation letters from different law groups. I contacted Tierney's office and the young lady, Meetu who answered the phone, explained the process and how no fees are ...to be paid out of pocket by me regardless of the outcome of case. I was a little hesitant to believe I didn't have to pay as it sounded too good. She sent me the retainer agreement which outlined exactly what I was told. I was please the documents I received were written in a matter I could understand as I did not attend law school. I reached to Mr.Tierney due that I received a letter from him to adviced me that was been suit by Midland funding . I was not aware of anything . I called office a friday evening and left message and my called was return monday morning very fast . but I was so nervous that I left email message and it... was reply the same day . Very fast response felt really relieved after searching for help. Mr . Tierney staff are amazing people that care and help and answer all your questions and concerns . He took my case and i was explain that I didnt have to paid anything . He represent me for Free . I am so happy today I was informed that my case was dismissed.
