When I was served my summons and complaint over bad debt with an awful credit card company which I thought I had settled months before but the debt was bought out by Midland Funding LLC, where they in turn sued me for $1,000 + dollars. I was worried sick from this point as I had never been sued for ...anything and there was a threat of this being on my credit report and employers could see this...etc.! I was loosing sleep over this. I work in the legal field so I knew what a headache this could be. After that I got an flooded in the mail with attorneys and mediators wanting to handle my case and settle for and X-amount but I thought No, I do not owe this company one more dime! Some attorney's letters said they would represent me for free other said did not specify an amount but did cost something, but Michael Tierney's stuck out and plus they send you a couple at least twice a week in a manila envelope. I then consulted with an attorney I work with and he recommended I got to this office as their reputation is undisputed and feared. After reading the numerous reviews on this site I began to get some hope. I emailed my summons and complaint to the designated email address inside the flyer and wrote them a brief synopsis of what happened with this bad debt. They email you back same day with an electronic retainer and documents outlining what will happen during your case and that they will collect no fees from you. So What's in it for them, right? They try to collect fees from the other party suing you and I also consulted with another attorney to make sure this is legit. I then emailed my retainer back to them last Tuesday on December 29, 2015 and I checked my email yesterday on January 04, 2015 .... and RELIEF! Enclosed in a closing letter was my Notice of Voluntary Dismissal of the case! They also let you know it should be gone from your credit report as well! There is also a document that lets you know that if they try to sue you again or try to call you to collect to let them know immediately. Working in the legal field I am impressed with the professionalism and speed in which this firm worked to handle my case and get it out of my life for good. If you are reading this now know that these reviews are true and this did happen to me! They really can help you and I would definitely recommend this firm to anyone with a pressing legal matter. I reached to Mr.Tierney due that I received a letter from him to adviced me that was been suit by Midland funding . I was not aware of anything . I called office a friday evening and left message and my called was return monday morning very fast . but I was so nervous that I left email message and it... was reply the same day . Very fast response felt really relieved after searching for help. Mr . Tierney staff are amazing people that care and help and answer all your questions and concerns . He took my case and i was explain that I didnt have to paid anything . He represent me for Free . I am so happy today I was informed that my case was dismissed. Michael Tierney and his office were very helpful and professional in settling our court case for dept collection. I received a flyer from this office very early this year, and that is how I found out I was being sued by Midland Funding. After researching and reviewing the website, I thought it sounded too good to be true. I called anyway, and within DAYS of being served, the case was dropped. And, again, in ...October, Midland filed yet another claim against me. I was almost immediately served. The day AFTER I faxed the paperwork to Michael Tierney's office, the case was again dropped. The staff is very professional and helpful and quick to answer any questions I have. I would definitely recommend this legal team!

I was panicked when sued by Midland Funding in civil court for a credit card debt that was bought by them. This action generated a fair amount of offers to represent me in court by many lawyers offices, some for a fix price, others for an initial free consultation and only one for free and that wa...s the office of Michael Tierney. Of course I did not believe it. The letter stated that he will dismiss the case and back charge the plaintiff for his service. After some thoughts I called his office and was assured it was true. I agreed and received some documents that were signed online. Two weeks later I received a confirmation that the case was indeed dismissed. On the date originally assigned by the Court I went over to check the court agenda anyways and verified my name was not there, however Midland had more than 30 cases that day. I am very grateful to Mr Tierney and his office personnel for their representation. Highly recommended.
