I started getting ads from lawyers saying I was being sued by Midland Financial, but I didn't know anything about it and had not been served. I sent an email to Mr. Tierney's office and had a response almost immediately (even though it was after hours). The next day I spoke with Jackie in his offic...e and everything was handled by phone and email. I was so worried about this, because it was an outstanding family issue from things that happened before my mother's death. I was worried about paying for an attorney, missing work, just everything. In less than three weeks, I had an email that the matter was resolved in my favor and I didn't need to do anything further. I am so grateful that this office did as they promised. Now, I can start rebuilding my life.

Just to give you an idea of how this guys are reactive . . . I received their ad/mailer saying that Midland Funding was taking me to court for a debt even before I actually got the notification from Midland themselves. Next thing was they claimed they would take care of it for me, for free, and that... the debt would be waived and my credit report cleaned. You know what they say, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Well thing is with not much money in hand and a lawsuit coming up, my options were going myself or hiring Tierney. So of course I did a little research and they seemed legit with a bunch of reviews. I gave them a try. Results? The day before the court date I received an email from Jackie saying my case had been dismissed with prejudice. My debt was gone, I didn't have to pay a dime and my record was cleaned of this debt within 1 month. I'm now working with them on other debts for which I'm being harassed illegally by collection agencies. This guys are helping me so much getting back on track with my financial life and at no cost. It's insane the difference they can make. Trust them. Also, Jackie is an amazing person to deal with. Answers everything you ask, she really goes out of her way to help you out. Thumbs up Tierney !

Midland Funding was kind enough to notify me of a pending lawsuit via a subpoena. They also called and wanted to settle prior to going to court. I chose to contact Attorney Michael Tierney instead. His firm had sent me correspondence regarding this suit and after I researched him and his firm, I... called. From the beginning his Paralegal Jackie was fantastic. She was prompt and helpful and inside of a couple of hours I had retained Mr. Tierney's firm. As promised, the lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice and the debt(which I didn't think I owed anyway) was gone. I am usually not a fan of firms who advertise, but in this case I am glad I took a moment to read his mailer and call. If you have Midland Funding knocking at your door, call Michael Tierney, you will be glad you did.

When I was served my summons and complaint over bad debt with an awful credit card company which I thought I had settled months before but the debt was bought out by Midland Funding LLC, where they in turn sued me for $1,000 + dollars. I was worried sick from this point as I had never been sued for ...anything and there was a threat of this being on my credit report and employers could see this...etc.! I was loosing sleep over this. I work in the legal field so I knew what a headache this could be. After that I got an flooded in the mail with attorneys and mediators wanting to handle my case and settle for and X-amount but I thought No, I do not owe this company one more dime! Some attorney's letters said they would represent me for free other said did not specify an amount but did cost something, but Michael Tierney's stuck out and plus they send you a couple at least twice a week in a manila envelope. I then consulted with an attorney I work with and he recommended I got to this office as their reputation is undisputed and feared. After reading the numerous reviews on this site I began to get some hope. I emailed my summons and complaint to the designated email address inside the flyer and wrote them a brief synopsis of what happened with this bad debt. They email you back same day with an electronic retainer and documents outlining what will happen during your case and that they will collect no fees from you. So What's in it for them, right? They try to collect fees from the other party suing you and I also consulted with another attorney to make sure this is legit. I then emailed my retainer back to them last Tuesday on December 29, 2015 and I checked my email yesterday on January 04, 2015 .... and RELIEF! Enclosed in a closing letter was my Notice of Voluntary Dismissal of the case! They also let you know it should be gone from your credit report as well! There is also a document that lets you know that if they try to sue you again or try to call you to collect to let them know immediately. Working in the legal field I am impressed with the professionalism and speed in which this firm worked to handle my case and get it out of my life for good. If you are reading this now know that these reviews are true and this did happen to me! They really can help you and I would definitely recommend this firm to anyone with a pressing legal matter. It can not hurt to call or write them an email to find out your legal options. Thanks again to this firm for giving me this fresh start to the year! I could not be happier!
