First of all, I'm happy to enter a review for Richard here, because this is where I found him in the first place. To give some background, my business is in the US, but I am physically overseas, so it was not feasible to get recommendations through a personal connections. My initial reasons for re...aching out to Richard were his personal experience as an entrepreneur and with importing, his focus on small businesses, and what I was able to research about his personal character. Perhaps that was an idiosyncratic way to make this decision but, hey, it worked. Richard and his assistant, Julia, were both very quick to respond and grasped the essentials of my business quickly. This was very important, as the product and the way my company does business is fairly unusual. All this was done over email, but never did I feel that there was a gap in communication from not being able to meet face-to-face or speak directly. I was able to provide Richard with a sample of a similar purchase agreement, but what we ended up with was quite different and, honestly, I think, much better. Richard went out of his way to consider all the different angles and risks that could arise, and put together an excellent framework to provide as much protection from them as possible. Richard used Google Docs so that we could work on the document together and go back and forth on individual points in an easy-to-follow way, and this worked very well. I found Richard's fees to be very reasonable. In fact, after our extended back-and-forth nailing down all the details (I am a stickler for these), I was pleasantly surprised to find that the final bill came in at quite a bit less than I had been expecting. Given that my company will be using this document as a template for multiple transactions, the cost-per-transaction of using Richard's services is going to be very low, but the peace-of-mind and protection provided very valuable. I have never met Richard, and never spoken to him on the phone, but I can recommend him highly based on the work he did for me. In fact, I expect to use him for some future work I have in mind as well.
