Not a good choice- be careful!

I should've shopped around more for a divorce lawyer before wasting my money on these sorry folks. They wouldn't even let me meet my lawyer!!!! It was 1 year and 8 months before I even met her. The office lost papers about our debt that I gave them, they never returned my calls and kept asking for m...ore and more money. Oh we're doing the retirement, that's more. My husband got a lawyer friend who didn't even really do anything but unlike my lawyers at least he didn't pay them to do NOTHING. Then they said, Oh it's contested that costs more, so (like an idiot) I paid them more. NOTHING HAPPENED. They talk at first like they can get you alimony and/or spousal support but then when it comes down to it they say you have to do this and that ETC. When I finally met her she gave me this speech on her persistence in getting into law school and her 4.0 average in school ETC what a pompous windbag! This isn't about you, lady! This is about how I was mistreated and in a love-less marriage for 30 years! I had five children and I was his slave, he didn't want me to work outside the home!!!! Now yes I have no "marketable skills" and can't find a "real job" but Lady it is NOT because I have not been trying!!!! You want a lawyer who is on your side!!!!! Not one who is going to throw the same stuff at you that you've heard for the past 30 years: You're not good enough or trying hard enough. I don't need any more crap! I'm sick of crap! YOU'RE FIRED! DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYWER

Susan is unhappy with how her situation played out, after 18 months or more of having to change paperwork because she could not decide what she wanted to do, and then not being in touch for months at a time. Susan is a very good example of "nothing you can do is ever going to be good enough." She was rude to me and my staff, and enjoyed yelling and slamming doors. While I realize, of course, that family law issues are emotional, if you look at my reviews on this and other sites, the majority of my clients are extremely happy. Why is it that when someone is unhappy with their lot in life, they take it out on someone who has been retained to handle only one aspect of what has gone wrong over 25 or more years - and when much of what happens with their life and their court case is in their hands, not the Attorney's hands? We can only work with what we have been given to work with. We communicate regularly with our clients, and our clients can request a meeting with me at any time. We schedule appointments as needed, and in preparation for court, of course. Aside from the office scheduling time with a client, the client is the one in control. If they disappear for months, change their minds and then cause confusion with their Attorney's office, and are rude when they do appear, again, I have no alternative than to withdraw as Counsel. After two years of dealing with Susan and her temper, her confusion and changing her mind, doing all the paperwork, trying to get things resolved, etc., she expected a refund. This is not L.A. Law, or any of the other Hollywood legal dramas, Susan. This is real life. You need to listen to the person you retained to represent you, and to give you advice. If all you wish to do is go about your way without consequences, and then find fault with those who try to assist, you will get nowhere, fast. And, when people in my position offer a comparison of what it took to get what they wanted, in order to give you an example of what you might need to do to get ahead, you should take it as a lesson to learn, not someone trying to boast. I don't share my private life with everyone. I do try to help people learn from my mistakes, and from my successes. The example of my GPA was a lesson that no matter how good you are at something, it does not mean it will get you what you want. You still have to work at it, and stick to it on a daily basis. This is real life, and you need to hear what it means to get out in the workforce and be self-sufficient. I'm sorry you took my "life lesson" as a boast. That is your bad, not mind. Best of luck to you in the future. I hope you figure it out.

Complicated Case, Excellent lawyer, Very Satisfied

My custody case was unusual and lengthy. Mrs. Hynes was always honest about the potential for a good outcome and bad. She is knowledgeable in case law in Georgia and throughout the US. Mrs. Hynes was eager to stay informed about new issues that would arise with the other party, and quick to offer leg...al advice as to how to handle any situation. She remained true to her "go at them" style and never gave the opposing council an inch. Mrs. Hynes is truly remarkable in court. She always allowed ample time for meetings and consultations so that I was fully prepared for court. Her office staff was always courteous and prompt with responses to any questions I had. Whitney and Jenny were always smiling and encouraging. I feel that Mrs. Hynes did everything she said she would do and more. I owe her a great deal of thanks.

Best Attorney in the Business!!!!

I have been a client for over 10 year. Danielle has assisted me with two divorces, on going custody battle for many years, several modifications. In the many years that I have been a client, I have NEVER had any issues with the way she and her staff handled my cases. Danielle and her staff were al...ways professional, timely as well as attentive to every detail. There were many times during my cases in which things would come up unexpectedly, Danielle and her staff always notified me accordingly, and worked to get everything worked out and taken care of. I never would have expected to need an attorney for as long as I have, but I was always represented with the best attorney and staff in the middle Georgia area! I would highly recommend Danielle and her law firm to anyone, I have actually recommended her over the years and many of the people I did recommend her to that chose to hire her have contacted me to thank me for doing so. If you want your case represented by the best, hire Danielle!

Thank you, Cheryl. It has always been a pleasure working with you and your family. I am so glad you chose us, and that my staff and I have not let you down in all these ten years. I appreciate your referrals, as well, as word-of-mouth is always the best sort of advertising - something you cannot pay for. Please stay in touch!

Response to "client"

I am sure that with any top notch attorney their are favorable and less than favorable outcomes to cases. I am also sure that an attorney can only be as good as a client will allow them to be. My case with Mrs. Danielle was always prompt and well handled by both herself and her very competent and cou...rteous staff. She fought with me for a year to gain custody of my two precious girls and there is no one I would rather have at my side in any court room ever. She is incredibly knowledgeable in her profession and competent in her advice. She worked very hard to keep me informed of everything that was going on and I never went more than 24 hours before I received a response to any email or phone call. She navigated seamlessly through some of the roughest waters in my life and my family would not be in tact now if it wasn't for her expert skill. So I am unsure how this "client" is under the impression that they were in any way cheated or given inappropriate advice. I have recommended her time and time again and every time I have heard nothing but the same extremely high praise and opinion of this amazing and dynamic attorney and her amazing staff. SO while I am sure that this person probably felt they had every right to feel the way that they do, I would advise anyone looking for the best family lawyer in the state, to look no further than Mrs. Danielle D'Eor-Hynes. If there was ever ANYONE who could win your case, it is most definitely her.

Wonderful Attorney

When reviewing options for an attorney, as well as having a consultation with another attorney prior, I came across Mrs. Hynes and it was the best decision I could have made. She makes you feel like you and your family's best interest is her goal and makes you comfortable in the most stressing situa...tions that are involved in a divorce/custody case. She and her office staff are kind and patient with questions no matter how small. Whether by phone or email, I do not feel I have been put aside when I have contacted the office. I would highly recommend Mrs. Hynes when you are looking for your best interest in an attorney.
