Worst attorney you can hire. He never got back with me about anything I confronted him about in my case . He said he was gone send me the body cam and never did. Then come Time for court he make me take a plea to charges that he knows that wasn’t mines. Also he step out the court room to speak with ...the other attorney and his client without me that we going against and he comes back and tell me that I gotta take this charge since nobody is taking ownership to it. Then i had to go in the courtroom and plea to someone’s else’s charges and the other team wasn’t even in there they did his plea right after mines when I wasn’t in the courtroom. I thought that we all had to be in the courtroom Together to get my side of the story and the other team side. Then he tells me that the reason I’m getting charge because the bag was in the backseat but it was under the passenger seat I never know it was in the car . If anything I believe the driver is more accountable for anything that is in his car & it is crazy how all his charges get dismissed and I get charge for everything. Then when I confronted him abt why I’m Getting all the charges and why he get nothing . I Tell him I wanted to take up my plea and take it to trial he tells me if I take it to trial I can face up to 10 years in prison if I’m found guilty. But there was no evidence on me and I had a lot of evidence on the driver and he tells me theirs nothing he can do. So Basically I believe that the other team lawer paid him to keep his mouth close abt everything because he didn’t want to fight for me at all. The only thing that he did for me was get me out of jail.

To make a long story short, he filed the appeal with the Court of Appeals in Atlanta, and six months later he was calling me to say that my son was coming home, with credit for time served and only had 6 months of probation. But that's not all. Because of Mr. Cansino's decision to appeal, the documents that were used in my son's case can no longer be used. So now every juvenile that enters the courtroom of Baldwin County will be judged fairly. Because of Mr. Cansino's perseverance, my son's case set the precedence for future juvenile cases in Baldwin County. Because of Mr. Cansino, my son's case was referenced in several law journals. Because of Mr. Cansino's belief in my son's innocence, he was set free 6 months early and now his juvenile case is sealed.
