David S. Klein has nearly thirty years of experience in a broad swath of complex legal issues. Obtaining his law degree in 1994, he practiced Family and Business Law in Massachusetts for 8 years. Upon retiring from the Army with 27 years of service,he worked at the premier law firm in Augusta, Georgia, continuing to hone his skills under the mentorship of some of the most talented and respected attorneys in Georgia. He has "big firm" experience in many complex practice areas in both Federal and State courts, including insurance defense of personal injury, automobile and trucking accidents, railroad law, environmental law, negligence liability claims, criminal defense, tort defense, workers’ compensation, professional liability claims for physicians and lawyers, commercial litigation, securities litigation, estate planning and probate administration.
It is this wide experience, combined with small firm client focused service, that sets David apart from his legal peers. Most solo and small firm attorneys will never gain the type of experience in their entire careers that David brings to the table.
David concentrates primarily on family, probate and criminal law. He was chosen in 2010 as Lead Faculty/Area Chair in the College of Criminal Justice and Security of the University of Phoenix (Augusta campus), overseeing the launch of the University’s Criminal Justice degree program while recruiting, training and supervising the CJ adjunct faculty, which included a veritable Who’s Who of local outstanding members of the criminal defense bar, law enforcement, corrections, and attorneys from both the Solicitor’s and District Attorney’s office. He is one of the few practicing attorneys in the local area to have taught dozens of graduate and undergraduate Criminal Justice courses. This is the type of experience that sets David apart from other attorneys and contributes to positive results in the courtroom for his criminal law, family law and probate clients.

Professional legal service with estate planning and divorce.
Professional relationship for over 40 years. I hired Mr. Klein for estate planning and all items relating to that planning. 100% satisfied with everything he accomplished. He represented me from start to finish in a very complicated and highly contested separation/divorce case. A case that eventually...
