Robbie was able to negotiate with the solicitor to have my DUI reduced to a reckless driving charge, and the failure to maintain lane ticket was dismissed altogether. So my license wasn't suspended, and I was given a pretrial diversion deal on the reckless driving charge, which means I have to serve a year of probation along with some other requirements, but after completion of these requirements I will be eligible for a records restriction on the reckless driving, meaning that only law enforcement will be able to see it, and background checks from potential employers will be clear. It doesn't get much better than that. Before I wasn't sure that Robbie could do much for me because the case against me was solid, but he made it happen, and I am forever grateful to him. Robbie defended me during a traffic case held in Walton county in August 2016. It involved reckless driving, running a stop sign and possession of marijuana less than an ounce that went hand in hand with a DUI. I was pulled over when I rolled through a stop sign at low speed(5mph) and slid my tires t...o show out for a neighbor. The officer attributed this to reckless driving and asked me to step out and searched my vehicle where he found the marijuana. He then asked me to perform a sobriety test which I politely refused. I was then handcuffed and taken to the Walton county correctional facility. After I was bailed out, I started to ask around as to who an attorney in the area would be best suited to my case and a friend referred me to Mr. Ballard. We met in his office a few days later and discussed options and a game plan for my case, which at first didn't look so good due to prior offenses. We continued to meet in the weeks following and it was clear to me that Robbie was genuinely involved in my case and doing everything he could to research and bring about the best possible outcome for my court case. At the day of my arraignment, Mr. Ballard and the prosecutor discussed a plea deal with the arresting officer and it was agreed to drop my charges to running a stop sign(when it was 2), lowering reckless driving to careless driving(which is very significant as the former requires license suspension) and dropping the DUI due to lack of evidence. As for the Marijuana charge, it was agreed to 12 mths conditional probation wherein if I completed the terms, I would not be charged with possession. This was a huge improvement over what I could have initially been charged with and I have Robbie's hard work and commitment to his clients to thank for this wholeheartedly. He has many years experience as a law enforcement officer himself as well as a defense attorney. I firmly believe I would be much worse off right now if I had not ascertained Mr. Ballard's expertise. He genuinely cares about his clients and the outcome of their case and has the experience to go with it. Hopefully I will not need to hire him in the future but I would consider no one else if I did. Robbie Ballard is simply the best attorney that you can hire when you put yourself in the crosshairs of the court, hands down.

I highly recommend Mr. Ballard! I hired him for my divorce.
