Warren Kennedy Abel

Warren was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. From a young age, Warren's family told him he was destined to be an advocate. Warren went to Little Rock Central High School, a national historic site, where he excelled academically and played multiple sports. Next, Warren went to Emory University for college and University of Georgia for law school on scholarship.

While in law school, Warren worked in 22nd Judicial Circuit Office of the Prosecuting Attorney in Benton, Arkansas. There, Warren tried and won his first case and helped prosecutors on cases ranging from felony murder to vehicular homicide. During his second and third years of law school, Warren worked at the Athens-Clarke County District Attorney's office, where he helped the felony prosecutors with trials and motions. Warren was noted bythe clinic director for his outstanding work in the District Attorney's office.

Following law school, Warren worked at Heifer International, one of the top-10 charities world-wide. After a successful stint at Heifer International, Warren began advocated for injured persons across Georgia. In 2016, Warren established The Abel Firm to represent people in Athens and across Georgia against corporations and wrong-doers.

From his raising as a child and his charity work, Warren has made a decision to dedicate a significant time of his practice to pro-bono work, including indigent defense and fair housing cases.

In his free time, Warren enjoys hiking with his 2 dogs, playing basketball and golf, and fishing.
