Ben came to my rescue in 2004 when I was fired after being hurt on the job. He got my check reinstated until things were decided in court. He was very professional and got things rolling right away. He has kept me informed of court dates and letters from opposing council. Ben is one of the sweetest and most understanding lawyers I have ever used. I would recommend him to everyone.

Very good listener, very caring, thoughtful, and kind. He was very informative and available. Very attentive to my case. He left an open invitation for any assistance I may need in the future.

When I became disabled I started my claim with the Social Security Administration, I filled out and submitted all the forms and of course was denied benefits. I haven't heard of any first time approvals personally except one. One day I ran into an old acquaintance, he was disabled at this point and had already begun receiving benefits. I explained my situation to him, and he said I should have already had a lawyer. He said I could never have gotten my disability benefit approval without a lawyer named Ben Johnson in Athens, he did a great job for me. I contacted Ben the next week and if I had not contacted Ben for help with my case, it would have long been over because the steps that came after the initial denial, appeal and hearing, my wife and I would have had no clue how to go any further or even that you could. Ben is very knowledgeable and didn't spare any of his knowledge on my case. He didn't wait until something came to him requesting information, he and his assistants were always one step ahead in getting any information they could think of that could be advantageous for my case. Ben and his assistants have been courteous and very helpful from the start. It took a long time, through no fault of Mr. Johnson, but he was able to get my benefits approved and I bless the day I met him.
Bryan Pritchett, Workers compensation Attorney
Relationship: Worked together on matter
In the past, as a defense attorney, I had the pleasure of going against Ben in workers' compensation claims. I found him to be a great advocate for his clients a more than worthy adversary. As a plaintiffs' attorney for the past 10 years, I've referred numerous clients to Ben for assistance with Social Security matters. His level of expertise in workers' comp and Social Security is top-notch, and I strongly recommend and endorse Ben in both of these areas of law.
