Brett Davis Turner

I hired Brett Turner to handle a very difficult case for me and found that he was very knowledgeable and caring through the whole process. What was so amazing to me was how much he knew about both sides (the defendant and the plaintiff roles) in a court room. It was like he knew exactly what each sid...e was going to want, do or say. That in itself was very comforting to me cause I knew that he would be able to handle my situation in the right way and that was exactly what he did. I was extremely nervous and paranoid about my case and he was caring, confident and reassuring the whole time, which was very important to me. He was able to get all the results that I wanted and that we strived for. I can't tell you what a Godsend he was and how helpful he was. I know that God puts certain people in someones life for a reason and I was so glad that Brett was in mine at that horrible time when I really needed help. I would definately recommend Brett Turner for any situation that you are going through and would definately use him again in a heartbeat. God Bless you Brett and I thank you from my heart. I have used Mr. Turner's services on at least three different occasions for criminal matters involving DUI and arguments with my girlfriend. I had called attorneys i had used in the past and they told me i was out kf luck Someone referred me to Mr. Turner so i decided to talk wirh him and get his o...pinion. At our meeting he was straightforward about what I was looking at but told me he didn't know why my previous attorneys had said what they did. He spent time with me to explain the possible different outcomes and let me know that I got to decide what to do with my case, not him. He would not push me to trial just to get more $ or make me plea if I didn't want to. I found his fee to be reasonable and he worked with me on it and told me what the fee would be if I wanted a trial or just wanted to enter a plea. I never felt pushed to go any particular way. He told me his job was to give me enough information to decide for myself how I should end the case. In the past other attorneys just seemed to want me to ente a plea. While he was difficult to get on the phone and he told me it would be due to his court schedule, i I never had a problem having a meeting with him within a couple of days and he always spent as much time with me as i needed to make sure i understood everything. I never got charged extra for those meetings He was always straightforward with me and didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear. I have recommended him to several of my friends who also had the same experience I did. He got things done in my cases that I did not think were possible and he never let me down and always exceeded my expectations as he got me out of the DUI my other attorneys said i would be stuck with. He also has helped me out on several occasions free of charge with some matters related to my business. He treated me with respect and never talked down to me.

Just wanted to say a few words about my experience with Mr. Turner. I was referred to him my someone when I was released from Lumpkin Co. jail with 5 charges hanging over my head. I contacted Brett and we discussed possible outcomes of my situation because it involved DUI/Poss. of illegal substance.... He was honest and straightforward with how he could help me, his costs and what to expect. I had an initial consultation with Brett and hired him on the spot. In my opionion, he did all the necessary filing and reporting to the courts as expected. His expertise, knowledge and follow up with my case exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend Brett to a friend or family member.

This lawyer is incompetent, irresponsible, and almost impossible to get in touch with after he takes your money. He didn't even show up to my last court date, and I haven't heard from him in over four months! I paid him cash, up front, and he has not taken the time to at least call back with an apolo...gy, after the hundreds (really, over one hundred) of calls I've made and over 40 messages I have left with his secretary or his answering machine while my case is still going on and I have no clue of any progress or changes that may have been made. Words fail to describe how negligent this man has been. To this day, I am still calling his office on a daily basis, and getting no answers, and I am in the process of personally getting my situation resolved because I gave money to a "lawyer" who did not do/is not doing his job, at ALL.

You would think that when you hire an attorney that they work for you and not the other way around. This attorney was quick to ask for money and give no justice for the service. When you try to remind your lawyer of what your fighting for and they have your case file in front of them and still can't ...get things done, that tells me more than I need to know about how much he cares about my case. Brett failed me on so many occasions that in the end I lost more than I ever expected and at no time did I ever feel like he did the job that he took my money to do. Be careful with this one, he likes being paid, just doesn't like to remember how to do his job!
