I hired Bob Coleman in August 2009 to represent me in a sudden and unexpected child custody issue. From the moment I scheduled an appointment with his paralegal, I experienced a sense of security knowing they really cared about my case and the welfare of my child. When the time came for our custody and visitation rights to be revisited, we were able to settle out of court without a lengthy trial. Mr. Coleman extensively went through my divorce decree bringing several items to my attention I had not thought about. He took the time to make recommendations on what changes we could make to work in the best interest of my child. I have seen Mr. Coleman try hundreds of child abuse and neglect cases. He has always been very professional, always willing to work with all parties involved and to keep them well informed of what was going on with each case that he was involved with. Sometimes as clients we don't think our attorney ...represents us in a way that we think is best for us and we tend to go and do what we think is the right without the approval from our attorney and then we do something that negatively affects our case and we want our attorney to undo what we did and then we want to blame them when they can't. For quite some time I have been contemplating the most appropriate medium to communicate an experience that I had with John R. Coleman and his associates. In fact, it was not unusual for him to contact me after hours when circumstances had become so critical. On one occasion he contacted me from his daughter’s track meet! As this difficult transition came to a closure I believe that he, ultimately, facilitated a fair resolution for me as well as for my ex-wife. I have no regrets in his handling of my case for he brought to rest a tragically perfect storm in my life and he did so with class while also maintaining the dignity of all parties involved.
