Outstanding attorney looking out for your best interest!!

I hired Bob Coleman in August 2009 to represent me in a sudden and unexpected child custody issue. From the moment I scheduled an appointment with his paralegal, I experienced a sense of security knowing they really cared about my case and the welfare of my child. Upon meeting with Mr. Coleman, he ...was very knowledgeable in explaining to me the need for an emergency hearing and what it entailed. He was very thorough in preparing for our day in court. Bob took the extra time to do extensive research to make sure we had pertinent information and necessary witnesses to testify. The judge ruled in our favor due to Mr. Coleman really doing his homework, being aggressive when he needed to be, and expressing the concerns I had shared with him in a professional manner. When the time came for our custody and visitation rights to be revisited, we were able to settle out of court without a lengthy trial. Mr. Coleman extensively went through my divorce decree bringing several items to my attention I had not thought about. He took the time to make recommendations on what changes we could make to work in the best interest of my child. He was also patient to answer any questions I had on updating my original decree and explaining the legal terminology I did not understand. I would highly recommend the legal services of Bob Coleman. He is top notch, really knows his stuff, and takes time to listen to what his client is actually telling him!!

Gave me good, solid legal advice

Bob has gone out of his way for me. I have used 4 different attorneys in my life and Bob is more like a friend to me. He not only stood up for me, but gave me good, solid legal advice and directions. I feel he treated me fairly and I would highly recommend anyone to hire Bob for any domestic matte...r.

The jury is out

I hired Bob to help defend me in my divorce. I think that my husbands attorney was more aware of what was going on then Bob. I felt like the two of them were eager to drag out every possible step in this divorce. I let Bob go this week. I'm just not sure what to think. But I do think that an ...attorney should be very clear in their council. If it's not their first rodeo, they certainly should know the best and most logical path out of the mess of divorce. I didn't not get that feel from Bob. Everything was like "well I don't know. Maybe you should do this. Maybe you should do that." I'll let you know what I think after this whole process is over and done. I feel like ill be a pro by then. I will say that the VERy BEST council I have gotten is from friends who have been through divorce

I suggest you look for someone else

John Coleman and his firm did a terrible job of representing my interests. He failed to inform me of many of my legal rights. This caused me to lose a lot in mediation and court. When I asked him about my rights he didn't inform me about, he told me he won't help. I am continuing to pay for his exhor...bitant services, but he refuses to help me. If you are considering him to represented you, reconsider. I will not be rcommending him to anyone I know. Just the opposite. Go find another lawyer or firm.

Relationship: Co-worker

"I strongly endorse this lawyer, but I am a little bias. Bob and I have practiced law together for 15 years. Each day, I see Bob's car is the last in the parking lot. He works harder for each and every client, whether in Divorce, Personal Injury, Custody or Businness Law. He was voted a Super Lawyer and he is one! He Recently was elected as President of the Hall and Dawson County Bar Association. Bob presents those outstanding motions and trials that Judges can follow and that our clients can afford. He is a great advocate as well as a great father, husband and friend. We are grateful to have him here at Coleman and Chambers, LLP. Rob Chambers"

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I endorse this lawyer's work. I know of Bob Coleman's work in Personal Injury and Domestic Relations litigation. One thing is for sure, when Bob is prosecuting a personal injury or wrongful death case, he will not permit insurance companies to take advantage of his clients. He is one of the legal elites in the Hall County/Northeast Georgia area."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
