Hire the best!

I retained Bob Coleman as my attorney when I was rammed in the rear of my Honda CRV while I was stopped at a traffic light with 3 cars stopped in front of me by a young man driving a large pickup truck. After filing a claim with my insurance company, the company called me to ask if I had retained... an attorney and I said no. Did I intend to hire an attorney, they asked. I replied, “Only if I have to.” They then made a small offer for a settlement which I rejected immediately. I was undergoing medical treatment already as my injuries necessitated months of physical therapy and I suffered great pain in my back, neck and upper torso. I decided I had to retain an attorney and began research to find the right one. In my professional life before retirement I had worked with numerous attorneys and knew what I was looking for, so I made an appointment to see Bob Coleman. Bob listened carefully, asked pertinent questions and agreed to represent me. This was a fortunate move on my part. Bob worked hard to protect my interests and get my settlement increase that paid all my medical bills and left a 100% increase over what I had initially been offered by the insurance company for my settlement for pain and suffering. I was also fortunate in having Bob’s paralegal, Diane Brown, working on my case. Diane is extremely competent and was persistent in staying in contact and keeping me informed every step of the way as my case progressed. As the medical bills mounted, I was concerned that my excellent credit score would be impacted by unpaid bills. She contacted them all and arranged deferred payment until settlement. She was a miracle worker whose negotiating lead to significantly lower final payments of all the medical bills. I am truly grateful for Bob and Diane for their stellar work. I have made two good friends as well as having a great legal firm if I need legal advice in the future. I would certainly again retain Bob Coleman to represent me.

Excellent Team

Bob Coleman and his associates, especially Diane Brown, all worked as an excellent team in providing services for my husband and me regarding a personal injury case. They were always responsive to our questions and concerns and communicated with us on a regular basis. Everyone was very personable and... made us feel comfortable through the entire process. I would highly recommend their firm.

Wonderful Results!

I hired Bob in 2011 to help with my divorce proceedings. He & Diane, his paralegal, went above & beyond to get the settlement that I was entitled to. I ended up with a hefty alimony & child support package thanks to them. I also used them within the next couple of years when my oldest son chose to... live with me instead of having to go to his father's house every other weekend. Fast forward to November 2016. My ex-husband hit me with accusations of being mentally unstable & verbal & mental abuse to my 4 children. We ended up having to go through a full blown custody evaluation with psychological evaluations for myself & my ex-husband. This was no fun, as you can probably imagine. Bob & Diane were there every step of the way, encouraging me & giving me strength to keep going forward. Bob was always very honest & straight up with me. There was no fluff about it. I appreciated that he did that. Many times I would ask him what he would do in the same situation with his family. He was very open & honest, which put a very personal touch to the situation. He never made me feel like I was unimportant. He or Diane would always talk to me when I called the office, if they were in. If I had to leave a message, they were always very prompt in getting back in touch with me. They even called me after hours sometimes if they didn't get to talk to me during normal business hours. Diane would even go out of her way to meet me sometimes after work so I wouldn't have to drive to Gainesville to sign paperwork. We just finished our case & didn't have to go to court. Thank goodness! It was a long process & I'm so very thankful for Bob & Diane. I, once again, came out on top with gaining even more time with my children, more decision making authority & about $3500 per month in child support. (No mental issues either, but I already knew that :). I couldn't have asked for better representation than I received from the two of them. I highly recommend Bob for anyone who has any kind of legal issues. He & Diane are a wonderful team & I'm glad that I had them on my side. I hope that I don't have to engage attorneys again, but if I do, I will be calling Bob.

Very Good Lawyer

John did an excellent job handling my divorce. He is an extremely good lawyer. His knowledge of divorce law was excellent and I felt like I had the strongest lawyer in the room. He listened to my concerns and counseled me on the correct actions to take during negotiations. He was not judgmental... about the circumstances surrounding the divorce and always acted in a professional manner. He always had my best interests in mind when negotiating with opposing counsel, protecting from my ex spouse when she asked for too much and myself when I was giving too much. The office is professional and the staff is courteous. He answered my calls when possible and returned calls in a reasonable time frame. I always felt like the only client in the office when talking with him. I always had his full attention when we met. I would definitely recommend him to others needing help with their divorce.

Positive Feedback

For quite some time I have been contemplating the most appropriate medium to communicate an experience that I had with John R. Coleman and his associates. When I found this site I was delighted as it provided that opportunity. At last, I would be able to share my story with others and provide testame...nt as to how this man and his staff of seasoned professionals were able to rectify a tumultuous, gut-wrenching situation to restore order and sanity in my life and the lives of my children. I actually met Mr. Coleman some years ago and had been impressed with his unique concern for others as well as his capacity to work through relentless and difficult dilemmas in a way that left all parties with their dignity intact. When I enlisted the services of Mr. Coleman, I felt that he personally stepped in when the ‘basket of life’ had spilled over. He, ultimately, was able to restore sanity and order to a chaotic and, what seemed to be, an impossible situation. You see, I went through a contentious divorce after being married for 23 years. During this time I have never known stress, confusion and uncertainty of this magnitude - ever! I was deeply impressed by the attentiveness of Mr. Coleman and his colleagues and their ability to represent me and honor my wishes during this difficult time. One of my greatest desires in the divorce was to minimize the trauma of this process for my children. I believe that Mr. Coleman successfully achieved this as he is also a good father, husband and family-minded man which afforded him an important perspective on the sanctity of family stability. On a weekly basis I would receive supportive phone calls, letters and e-mails from his staff and from Mr. Coleman personally. His outreach to me was always caring, sensitive and advisory keeping me abreast of developments and progress. In fact, it was not unusual for him to contact me after hours when circumstances had become so critical. On one occasion he contacted me from his daughter’s track meet! As this difficult transition came to a closure I believe that he, ultimately, facilitated a fair resolution for me as well as for my ex-wife. I have no regrets in his handling of my case for he brought to rest a tragically perfect storm in my life and he did so with class while also maintaining the dignity of all parties involved. My accolades could never be sufficient for his representation and personal support. My deepest appreciation is extended to a first class man, staff and law firm…Coleman & Chambers . Kudos to all!! Most sincerely, Carl Hood

"I strongly endorse this lawyer, but I am a little bias. Bob and I have practiced law together for 15 years. Each day, I see Bob's car is the last in the parking lot. He works harder for each and every client, whether in Divorce, Personal Injury, Custody or Businness Law. He was voted a Super Lawyer and he is one! He Recently was elected as President of the Hall and Dawson County Bar Association. Bob presents those outstanding motions and trials that Judges can follow and that our clients can afford. He is a great advocate as well as a great father, husband and friend. We are grateful to have him here at Coleman and Chambers, LLP. Rob Chambers"
