Wow! I can’t believe the case is discharged and closed. It really is a miracle for me. For about the last three years I dithered around over the idea of whether or not I should file for bankruptcy. I contacted you by phone, not once, not twice, but three times in three consecutive years. For the firs...t two years after talking with you, I shook my head and walked away from the idea of actually beginning the process of filing. I just didn’t think I would qualify. And even this past spring I had the hardest time to decide to file. In fact, I think it was the hardest decision I have had to make in my entire life, and I mean that literally. There is always an element of luck regarding how the filing might unfold. So to the extent that it was appropriate, you suggested I reconsider my decision and file for the Chapter 7. Trusting you, your expertise, and your obvious concern for me as your client, I accepted your advice. Thank God I did so! This discharge is a life changer for me. I had reached a point where all I could look forward to was to pay the minimum due on all of my credit cards pretty much for the rest of my life. But I had even reached the end of that game. I could no longer rob Peter to pay Paul; something was about to give, and I knew it.  I could not see a way where I would ever be able to end the hopeless cycle. I was truly in over my head and drowning with no way out. I don’t want to sound overly dramatic, but sometimes we all get so caught up in the day-to-day swirl of our lives that we fail to see the larger perspective of the value of our work to others. So I want to remind you through what I have just told you, that you have altered my life for the better through the work you do. And in the end what higher outcome can one ever hope to accomplish in his work than to help others? Thank you, Susan. It was a very good day when I picked up the phone and called you.
