In July 2019 I was arrested for my third DUI. I was drinking and my car broke down on the way home. When the police showed up I was given a field sobriety test which I did not refuse. After the field sobriety test I refused a breathalyzer. At that point I was arrested. Note about the resolution o...f my case: I was charged with a THIRD DUI. This charge was miraculously reduced to Reckless Driving with no probation and minimal fines. Mr. Lawson is truly a miracle worker. I have a wonderful career and my Grandmother lives with me so the severe consequences of jail time, losing my license, fines, fees, etc left me feeling hopeless. I went to Richard, after receiving a DUI with two child endangerment counts. These are serious charges. I was in a very bad mental place at the time of that choice, and needed to change my life. When I went to Richard, my hopes of a good outcome with my situation were low. In GA, each child endangerm...ent charge, paired with a DUI, is considered an additional DUI charge. This was my first DUI. However, I was facing a possible outcome of 3 DUIs due to this one event. If not acted upon, I would have had up to 3 years jail time, 360 community service hours, would have lost my license (and my job/life) for a considerable amount of time, all with considerably more consequences to follow. Richard gave me a very specific series of actions to follow. I followed every single recommendation provided, and more when I could. He set me up to receive literally the best possible outcome for my case, per state law. In the end, I received 30 community service hours, 3 days in jail (2 for 1, with time spent credited), and the minimum requirement by the state of a 4 month license suspension. I was able to keep my job, my family, attend a 12 month treatment program, create a healthy life, complete all DUI driving courses, and all community service hours, prior to my court date. When I finally had my court date, I had completed almost every requirement I could have received. This was all because I took my commitment to my case/recovery, as seriously as my charges. I worked towards my own long-term happiness. I LISTENED and FOLLOWED Richards advice! This is very important, as you are a very large factor in your own outcome, beyond your attorney. I am now able to: Act as an "emotionally present" mother to my children; Live a happy and fulfilling life; Create relationships with many people (who truly love me); and Create a life financially where I am moving forward. I do not feel a second of my 13 months was lost. I used it wisely, WITH Richard's guidance, to create a lifetime of better choices. Richard is an extremely knowledgeable attorney. He genuinely takes the time to listen to his clients, understand them, and present the best path pertaining to their life and legal situation. A lot of thought goes into his decisions and words. He does not hesitate to take extra time from his personal life, to apply it towards something he strongly believes in (his clients case outcomes). Just as he says, "Don't Trust Your Future to a General Practitioner". I have been driving for 30 years and in that time, I had one speeding ticket until I was charged with DUI. I had no idea what to do or what to expect. I did some research and decided to contact Mr. Lawson, which was the best dec...ision I could have made. Mr. Lawson walked me through the process, told me what I needed to do, and was very patient with me as I asked many questions. In the end I received the best possible outcome. Mr. Lawson attended my administrative license hearing and convinced the arresting officer to withdraw the sworn report. This allowed me to keep my license and no restrictions were imposed. When we went to court Mr. Lawson was able to get a notoriously strict Assistant District Attorney (ADA) to agree to reduce my DUI to Reckless Driving. Unfortunately, that was not my only charge. I was also charged with Evading / Attempting to Flee, Speeding, Open Container, and Failure to Maintain Lane. Mr. Lawson got the ADA to agree to reduce the Fleeing to Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle, so my two big charges were reduced. He also got the Failure to Maintain Lane dropped. In the end with the two big charges reduced, I kept my License, and he kept me out of Jail. Best possible outcome for sure. I would highly recommend Mr. Lawson. Hire Mr. Lawson, an expert with 20 plus years of experience, and you won't be disappointed.

I hired Mr. Lawson for my out-of-state DUI charge and feel it was the best decision I could have made for my situation and I got the best possible outcome.
