Neil Richard Flit

I hired Neil Flit back in early 2016. After I spoke to him I was paired up with a associate Mr Tate. I was told that everything to be great, I had nothing to be worried about. Then I was set up for all kind of doctors and physical therapy. Accumulated all these bills. All of a sudden a few months ...went pass could not contact anyone in the office. Left messages daddy after day month after month and at the end of the statute of limitations has ran out I get a text from Neil Flit saying he letting my case go and I need to find a different lawyer. So I’m telling you that if you thinking about hiring this law firm run the other direction. They mean you no good They are not ethical at all.

Let me start by saying, this is no competitor, and no I am NO LONGER represented by this office. I figured I'd throw that out there since that seems to be their response to their appropriate terrible reviews. I was involved in a hit and run accident by a drunk driver (12/31/14), so this shouldn't hav...e been a complicated case. I inquired about their services, and someone was at my house IMMEDIATELY to take my case. That was the most contact I had with them! For over a year and a half, I called and emailed, with little to no response. I was never made aware of who my case was assigned to or anything. A year and 8 months later (8/2016), I acquired the services of Emanuel Dressie at Calvin Smith's office, and it was at that point that I was informed that Neil Flit's office had received a settlement from the defendants insurance company A YEAR ago (10/2015)! They had been sitting on my money and accumulating interest on MY MONEY and NEVER informed me they had received it. I literally called the police and had the police accompany me to his office to inquire about the whereabouts of my money (9/2016). It literally took until December 2016 for them to release my money to my new attorney, who was PHENOMENAL by the way! They had the nerve to want to keep 33%...WHY? Of course in the end that didn't happen, but why would they think they deserved it? The interest off my money was more than they deserved! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone, and I'm sorry for those who made the same mistake as I by acquiring them in the first place. However, there are attorneys out there that WILL take over your case! GO FIND ONE...IMMEDIATELY!

Everyone needs to read this Neil Flit review. I was shocked to read that he was suspended from the practice of law by the state of Tennessee. i would have never hired him if I knew that. check it out yourself on this website- where it says he was disciplined by a state bar. secondly, this guy is n...ot too sharp ( I have since used two other attorneys). I also found him and his staff unprofessional and unresponsive on my case. I took my business elsewhere thankfully, and the lawyer I hired got me a lot more money than flit said my case was worth. He also told me that Flit isn't very well thought of among other lawyers.
