Neil Richard Flit

I am a client of Neil Flit in GA. He has gotten a settlement from the insurance company about 1 year ago and refuses to pay me and the Doctors (one bill is less than$150.00.He has not negotiated with the other Dr). I can't contact him by phone nor email and his office is always locked. No one an...swers the phones and he won't return my calls when I try to check my case status. He should be disbarred. This, to me, is incompetence at it's finest.

I had a car accident on June 30, 2015 and contacted Neil Flit after seeing a TV commercials. Flit's office sent someone to my house that was inappropriately dressed for business. However, we gave them all the information they requested. Several weeks later I received a letter stating they would re...present me. I sent them all the documents they requested. I was told Gary Tates would be the case manager. I emailed Gary Tates every couple of weeks for an update for three years. There were many times I had no reply or it would take weeks to get a reply to be told "its in litigation". July 2018 after being told this case was in litigation again I told him that I wanted an update other than its in litigation. In August of 2018 I was sent an email, voice mail and text stating that Mr. Flit wanted me to come in for a deposition. At this time he asked if I would have back surgery and he would refer me to someone on his medical team. I was told not to worry about the bills because once the case was settled everything would be paid. He said this would get me a settlement of $300,000. I told him I would not have back surgery. It was then his whole demeanor changed. Flit said the case had to be dismissed and refiled because he had the wrong county, but not to be alarmed because it happens all the time. He said this process would take a couple of more years and I didn't need to constantly email for an update because they know their job. The next time I heard from Flit was December 2018 saying he wouldn't represent me any longer and I had to find a new attorney. I called several attorneys and was told by all that they wouldn't touch my case because statute of limitations was June 2017. I called the insurance company of the woman that rear ended me for information and they said they had received a notice of the case being filed just days before the statute of limitations expired. The next time they heard from him was in September 2018 he had the case dismissed and never filed again. The last contact he had with them was to tell them he was not representing me. After a couple of weeks and many phone calls I found an attorney that was not able to represent me but she did refer me to a company that has taken my case and has now filed the correct documents in the correct county. I will never do business with anyone associated with this law firm and I will never recommend Neil Flit to anyone, not even a mortal enemy!

I had an accident in 2016 contacted them sent someone out to me right away. Afterward Mr. Tate called and telling me all the things I needed to do. I went to appointments after appointments. 2 years later spent papers to settle my case returned them got a phone call saying we should be settling in th...e next couple of months only to get a letter in the mail that my case was dismissed. I'm here with a life time back injury and I get this from this law firm. I'm so pissed!!!!

I hired Neil Flit back in early 2016. After I spoke to him I was paired up with a associate Mr Tate. I was told that everything to be great, I had nothing to be worried about. Then I was set up for all kind of doctors and physical therapy. Accumulated all these bills. All of a sudden a few months ...went pass could not contact anyone in the office. Left messages daddy after day month after month and at the end of the statute of limitations has ran out I get a text from Neil Flit saying he letting my case go and I need to find a different lawyer. So I’m telling you that if you thinking about hiring this law firm run the other direction. They mean you no good They are not ethical at all.

For years I saw this law firm as all the rest of these reviews exclaim. However, I realized that I judged them from the eyes of past experiences with law firms who delivered everything I expected in a law firm: the return calls, the quick settlements, the doctors to attend, etc... Therefore, this law... firm wasn't delivering any of these. Nevertheless, those past law firms got me quick settlements and medical services that did not serve me fairly; and I'm still suffering with continuing discomforts related to the accidents; but with no rights to be served, because my attorney accepted and got me the quick settlement. I say all of this to say that in my last attempt of dealing with the frustration and disappointment with this law firm; I went directly to the firm to meet with the owner to discuss the apparent situations happening behind the scenes. I was very understanding and satisfied with the explanations I received regarding the process of my case for the past three years. I even expressed to him that if all of his clients could hear such from the firm, it would satisfy their obvious disapprovals as well. He agreed and apologized for the experiences, and lack of being able to communicate all of the processes happening behind the scenes, for the full advantages of his clients. Not only has this been a process for us as clients, but he too; is in a process of being better at serving; which I was clearly able to see; he has a passion for. Still, I haven't yet received my settlement. But I have received a response which I respect, believe, and applaud; and in the future, he is exactly the type of attorney I'd like to have represent me. Trust me, I had vowed never to have anything to do with this firm again. Now I'm encouraging others whom feel as I did; to be patient, and trust in the Lord, for he is good. Neil Flit, I appreciate your service.
