Auto Accident - Big difference in our lives

"I wanted to thank you for everything you’ve done, not just for me, but for my whole family. It has made a big difference in our lives and I really appreciate it.” Michael & Tina

A Difference of $157,000 in my case

I was hit by a car who pulled in front of me. The impact was hard enough that it caused my air bags to deploy. The other driver was clearly at fault. I suffered burns on my chest from the air bag impact as well as cuts and bruises on my legs and arms. The other party's insurance tried to minimize... my damages as well as the well-being of my health. Attorney Suggs refused to back down on my behalf, which was why I chose him in the first place (disciplined by the bar because he would not back down from the other attorney). His diligence and expertise were the reasons why my settlement was $157,000 more than what the insurance company tried to settle my case.

Costly Lesson Learned

I was in a recent car accident and the other driver was at fault. The driver was charged with DUI. I was referred to Attorney Suggs. Unfortunately, thinking I could handle this on my own, I trusted the other insurance company. To my surprise, they denied my claim. I couldn't believe it! The in...surance adjuster acted like he wanted to help me. After three weeks of going back and forth, I called Attorney Suggs back. I expected him to say, "I told you so!" But he did not. He was very professional and agreed to work on my case. He and I met the same day. Within 48 hours, the at-fault insurance company changed their entire tone when Attorney Suggs got involved. I almost screwed my self by allowing the other insurance company to act like they were befriending me. Never again! Lesson learned the hard way. Thank you Attorney Suggs.

My perception of lawyers has changed...

As a guy who generally does not like lawyers, I have to say retaining with Mr. Suggs was a good decision for our family. He helped us with our car wreck settlement and would not back down from insurance company’s initial offer. He was truly on our side every step of the way.

Helpful Reviews

What a nightmare experience! My wife and I had an argument that got out of hand. The neighbors called the police and I was taken to jail. A friend of mine told me about Mr. Suggs. After reading his reviews, I contacted his office and he took the time to explain my options and what I could expect... in front of a judge. I told Mr. Suggs that I contacted him based on what I had read. At that time, I also told him that I hope I would be one of his clients writing a review. Needless to say I am. I went to court this morning. Mr. Suggs was there waiting for me. Long story short, things worked out better than I expected. Yes, I am happy to get this behind me so I can move on. If I ever need a lawyer again, it is no question who I will call. I just feel good about having his card in my wallet!

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2006.

Review Panel Reprimand issued in GA, 2006

updated on 08/10/2012

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Eldridge’s comment:

“unfortunately, this reprimand was made by the opposing Attorney because I would not back down from defending my client.”
