A Difference of $157,000 in my case

I was hit by a car who pulled in front of me. The impact was hard enough that it caused my air bags to deploy. The other driver was clearly at fault. I suffered burns on my chest from the air bag impact as well as cuts and bruises on my legs and arms. The other party's insurance tried to minimize... my damages as well as the well-being of my health. Attorney Suggs refused to back down on my behalf, which was why I chose him in the first place (disciplined by the bar because he would not back down from the other attorney). His diligence and expertise were the reasons why my settlement was $157,000 more than what the insurance company tried to settle my case.

Helpful Reviews

What a nightmare experience! My wife and I had an argument that got out of hand. The neighbors called the police and I was taken to jail. A friend of mine told me about Mr. Suggs. After reading his reviews, I contacted his office and he took the time to explain my options and what I could expect... in front of a judge. I told Mr. Suggs that I contacted him based on what I had read. At that time, I also told him that I hope I would be one of his clients writing a review. Needless to say I am. I went to court this morning. Mr. Suggs was there waiting for me. Long story short, things worked out better than I expected. Yes, I am happy to get this behind me so I can move on. If I ever need a lawyer again, it is no question who I will call. I just feel good about having his card in my wallet!

Over and Over Again

I work in the judicial system in Fulton County. I see and hear so many different criminal defense attorneys defend client cases. It is so true....'all lawyers are not alike.' For those who are in need of a good attorney, Mr. Suggs is at the top of the list. He is always well-prepared, charismati...c with the way he speaks to the Judge, and very knowledgeable of the law. He would definitely be the attorney I call if I find myself needing legal representation.

Thank you

Title: Thank you After my sister’s car accident, she didn’t know what to do or who to trust. You were referred to us by her doctor. What a difference you made. I was with her when she came to talk with you. Your professionalism and knowledge made us both feel that she had made the right deci...sion to retain you. Her case was resolved and she was fully compensated for her medical payments, as well as her pain and suffering. Thank you for being there for our family.

Great attorney to work with

Best Attorney For Personal Injury I’m very pleased with the services of the Suggs Law Firm. My case was very stressful. From the aches and pains I had in the beginning to dealing with the insurance companies one-on-one. But then, having to go through litigation –again, it was very stressful. And ...it makes you feel like you’re a bad guy, and having somebody on your side proving that you’re not the bad guy, that you’re a victim feels very nice. And that’s exactly what happened. From the beginning of my first appointment with Mr. Suggs, he came across as professional at all times, very down to earth, and very informative at all times. Any questions I had, he explained in full detail, but in layman’s terms. . . . Mr.Suggs prepping me, the meeting beforehand, worked out really well. The preparation for that helped me a lot. I tend to talk very fast. Mr.Suggs helped me with that so that I could come across not scatter-brained, scared and confused and just really focus on the truth. And that was very helpful. I am very pleased with the settlement he got me! Very pleased!!

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2006.

Review Panel Reprimand issued in GA, 2006

updated on 08/10/2012

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Eldridge’s comment:

“unfortunately, this reprimand was made by the opposing Attorney because I would not back down from defending my client.”
